ICON 12484 Rubber Grommet, 2"

We built an insulated pool pump and filter shed after some bad winter experiences and also our year-round super high UV/sun. I didn't want the pipes to go in/out of the shed without some sort of insulation but also to take weight off them.I did have to use a little Dremel tool sanding drum on the inside to give me about an extra 1-2mm of diameter. As-is, the grommet is super tight trying to slip over PVC so the sanding is necessary but doesn't wear away the grommet away to the point it can't do its job.Even so, I still applied Romex cable pulling lube over the PVC and it slipped right on. I know this is a non-traditional application but thought someone might find it useful.

Bought this to tie my shower drain into my grey water holding tank. Hole lines up great, unfortunately the thickness of the tank wall made it impossible to seat it properly in the rim of the hole, but that’s not the product’s fault. I used a non-standard fiberglass tank, so I ended up just using RTV to seal it. Working great so far.

I wanted a rubber grommet to run a 2" SHD40 PVC pipe through a metal shed and to keep the weather out. Some reviews said it would NOT fit, some reviews said it would but it was too tight to run the pipe through the grommet, and some reviews said it would work.I took a chance and bought it. IT FITS JUST FINE ON 2" SCH40 PVC PIPE ! I was able to slide the grommet onto the pipe without problems and without and silicone or Vaseline. NOT too tight for installation but still tight enough to make a seal on the pipe.

This product was used to fix a vent hole in holding tank for a Bumper Trailer worked great 👍

I'm using this to attach a 2" PVC overflow pipe to a rain barrel. It's probably overkill but it looks nice.

This is not for a 2" hole. It is for a 2.5" hole
