Good inexpensive outboard ear muff but it only puts water in on one side and the muffs are not big enough to adapt to anything but flat surfaces. To use on curved surfaces you end up needing to press them against the outboard lower unit to ensure the water doesn't spurt out around the edges... If you are looking for an inexpensive units that will do the basic job, this is your unit. If you will be using it a lot and want it to be hands-free, this is not for you.

I bought these after purchasing a cottage that came with a couple of boats left behind by the previous owner. One has an 85 HP outboard, and the other is a little 5 HP Mercury. Before taking either one out on the lake, I needed a way to supply cooling water while getting them running and checking everything over.I've used more expensive versions before, but these worked just as well for about half the price. They sealed tightly over the water intakes, provided a steady flow of water, and kept both engines cool while they were running.For the money, they're hard to beat. I'd buy them again.

arrived quick worked perfect very happy.

It slides around the intake ports easily on the outboard, but it allows a lot of water to leak out from under the muffs and from the top of collar that attaches the hose to the device. I've tried adjusting it many times, but it still leaks profusely. Overall, though, it does its job and allows you to work on your boat motor without submersing it in a 55-gallon barrel of water.

マーキュリーシープロで使用しました。プロペラを外したら問題無く使えます。ただ挟む力が弱いので振動で外れてしまうのでベルトで固定するか、フラッシングの間は手で外れ無いように支える必要が有ります。
