This pool is awesome!
I ordered this pool to help us enjoy our back yard, which is usually unbearably hot. The first one arrived and we set it up, but within a few hours we could tell something was wrong. It deflated and spilled all of the water out of the side. Slightly defeated, my fiance and I searched for any holes and patched as many as we could to no avail. We inflated it again and filled it but within a few hours, it was empty and nearly flat. I immediately contacted the seller via Amazon and they got back to me within a day, apologizing for the trouble and offered to replace it or refund my money. I opted for the replacement and so far, I haven't had any issues. It shipped within three days! The seats are super comfy and it's not too shallow. My fiance and I love to soak in it after work. We seriously love this pool! S/o to the awesome sellers too! Great customer service!

Leaks a little, but refill chambers at each use & it'll be fine
Just got this product. It is PERFECT. It is hot outside right now... really hot... and really sticky. My husband and I wanted something to lounge in in the heat where we wouldn't look silly. Also - we considered one of those larger blue pools that requires a pump & chlorine but truth be told - we weren't committed to the maintenance. Yes - the top chamber leaks a little bit of air. It is a blow-up pool. I'd imagine this is almost inevitable. Keep your manual pump next to it & give it a good pump up before you get in. It'll keep it inflated enough for your fun time in it and then it may leak a bit in the time you're out of it. The water should be refilled frequently anyway. Look on the bright side... it's a big pool and it's REFRESHING! It took a little over an hour to fill with the hose & quite a bit of time to warm up. When I am in it (5' 4") and not on the cushion seat but just the floor, it is just below my chest. I can float, arms extended, in the middle of the pool. Regarding a cover... two things. One - to scoop out any yucky stuff floating I'm going to get an aquarium net/scooper. Two - I'm going to use heavy-duty velcro on all sides of the pool in the middle & purchase two tarps to lay across the top. The corners of the tarps will adhere to the sides of the pool. Hope I explained that well. I am not intending on covering the seats with the tarps - I don't know that it would be an effective cover if I did. This pool, right now, is a super saver free shipping item on Amazon. It is very reasonably priced as well. For the cost of about the same as ONE waterpark ticket, your whole family can use this pool. SO - even if it is only for a few uses before it deflates a bit ... I figure you'll get your money's worth!

Great pool!
Loved the size of this pool! There is a drain spout on the floor of the pool, which makes it easier to empty the water. Despite only one air spout to fill the sides of the pool, it filled rather quickly with my small air pump. There are individual air spouts for each seat. Although, it was Hard to deflate the seats when we were trying to put it away. The 2 cup holders were convenient.

Not Much Summer Fun When It Doesn't Stay Inflated
This pool had good (but few) reviews so I went ahead and took a chance on this. The pool has 2 outer layers to inflate. After inflating the first evening (I laid it on a tarp just to make sure we didn't get any punctures) and adding water, by the next morning the bottom layer was almost completely deflated. The top layer was also losing air. I drained the water and tried airing it up again - same results. Next I sprayed soapy water in attempt to find a hole. No success. Then took it over to my in-laws large pool and dunked it to see if we could find air bubbles. No. So "Why not just return this defective product to Amazon?" you might wonder. Well, this pool was $40. To ship it back, I'd have to pay $19 in shipping (which is not reimbursed b/c it's Amazon's fault - the package was not damaged during shipping). Then - even if I returned it - Amazon won't exchange it and will only refund me UP TO 50%. You can do the the math from there. IF - and that's a big IF - this pool wasn't a defective item, it would be a great pool. The inflated seats and back rests (which stayed very inflated of course) on each corner are pretty comfortable and it would work out great for my wife or I to sit out with the kids. But it IS a defective item and all I can say is that I won't be buying an inflatable pool on Amazon again. I'll pay a bit extra at my local store so I have the option of returning it if it's defective. Update: I also contacted Intex directly. They cannot exchange the defective product (it seems this pool has been discontinued since it's hard to find just about anywhere to purchase online) and there is no service plan for it offered by Intex. They suggested I contact Amazon. So, there's $40 and a defective product in the trash. Buyer beware: You're gambling your money when you order this pool online.

Our alternative to a larger, above-ground pool
My husband and I came very close to buying an Intex, 15 foot above-ground pool this year. We were gung ho about it all winter long then Spring hit and the backyard projects began. The thought of adding yet another project (leveling the yard where we were going to put the pool) made our excitement wilt a LOT. We are experts on jumping the gun on things and going TOO big too soon as far as our 3 year old son is concerned so we decided to really think about what our family's needs are for a pool. Mostly, I was just looking for something big enough to cool off in during our brutal summers, and something for our son to splash in. Yes, it would be great for us "big people" to be able to kick back on a big floating raft in a larger pool, but we knew that the reality would be us taking turns holding our son up in a deeper pool where the water level would be over his head. Not much fun and not very relaxing. We knew he'd like something a lot more that he could stand up in and get in and out of himself so we shopped around and found this pool. At the price, it was worth a try. This past week we had some nearly 90 degree days (we live in Texas) so in we went. My son was ecstatic and had a blast. Big enough for me and hubby to sit in (and we are both very tall) and my son to still splash around in and play with his boats. I love the inflatable seats and backrests and the cup holders are a nice touch too. I will say that if you're tall to leave a couple of the seat cushions uninflated so you're down further in the water, otherwise only a little of your rump and legs are in there. I invested in a small, portable water pump (about $25) with hose attachment so I can water my plants as I drain the pool instead of just flooding the yard each time. Makes the drainage and cleanup so much more hassle free and I can kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. Haven't noticed any leaking issues, either. Overall I think this pool meets the needs of a family with little kiddos very well and I'm happy with the purchase.

Love; Hate - Roll The Dice and See What You Get
Conclusion Summer 2013. I pulled the trigger again, for twice the price - it lasted all of a week folks. Not even. Six days only. I mention below: I have a long history with this "Not Made In The USA" pool - and it remains, love, hate. I changed my mind: My relationship is - I will never buy it again. Summer 2013. Do I pull the trigger? Apparently, someone has decided to sell this pool through Amazon Prime; everyone, however, has also doubled the price of this pool - this junk pool - I know what I'm getting into. If it works, I have a super summer lounge pool - but do I want to pay over $100 for a pool that I know will not make it to next summer? Or do i buy the Intex 12 x 30 pool - comes in around $80 - , that requires a supremely flat surface as you fill the pool up - otherwise, the limited tubing around the top of the pool keeps spilling. Any suggestions? I have a long history with this "Not Made In The USA" pool - and it remains, love, hate. Pre Summer 2013 Review: This isn't sold via prime anymore. Nor is it sold for around $60 bucks. It's not worth a penny more than that. Seems some sucker orgnizations bought the overstock, read enough sucker positive reviews, and decided they could pawn off this piece for nearly 3 times the price. Don't go there. This pool, again, if you're lucky, will last you through the summer. I was up here on Amazon to buy a 4th pool in 3 years. For $170 bucks, thank you, I'll go to the Y! If you pay anymore than $60 for this pool, you B makin' a big mistake! Summer 2012 Review: I'm about to buy my 3rd one of these. Globally, it's more cost effective than a pool membership but we're getting close to break even now as I'm on my 3rd pool. Number 2, bought for this summer, lasted all of one month before it started leaking air. These pools are hit or miss quality wise. "Made in China" reads the label. (Read the other reviews.) In principle, it's a great pool. If you're fortunate enough to get one that doesn't have slow leaks because the seems aren't securely sealed consider yourself lucky. If you have 50 dollars to burn every summer, go for it. If you're looking for durability, you won't find it with this pool. My 1st Review: This pool is a gem. For kids, it's tough. My preteen boys are just killing it and it hasn't popped. For adults, it's pretty cool too: the bottom of the pool sports 4 cushions to "sit" on when you're lounging. For an adult, you can put your head on these cushions, get your head enough under water to cover your ears while still maintaining your nose and mouth above water. Perfect for a mid afternoon nap?!!! Well worth the investment. . .(Note: This pool lasted only one summer, regardless of my glowing review. I threw it out in August)

Best "Come over for some drinks and a refreshing lounge in my pool!!"
We live in a very hot climate during the summer but moved into a house with no pool. Growing up in Miami, this was such a bummer for me to not have access to the beach or a pool. So one day, I went on amazon and starting looking through their inflatable pool options. I was not really impressed because it seemed like a lot of people had a lot of bad things to say about most of the pools. After hours of searching I decided to take a chance on this one. When the pool finally arrived, I showed my husband my surprise. He was not pleased with me. I explained how we could fill up the pool, invite all our friends over and drink margaritas. He told me that no one was going to share my excitement and that it was "lame."... WELL GUESS WHO WAS WRONG?!?!?! MY HUSBAND! Because I inflated the pool, and sent a pic to all our friends who came over immediately!! The pool has these awesome, comfortable cushions with back rests. Everyone has enough leg room, and the water can go up as high as your stomach. We also love the cup holders for drinks! Needless to say, the pool was a huge hit and we've used it multiple times. Our friends have asked us to inflate it regularly because everyone enjoys it so much. In addition, I really think it's great quality. I have no idea why anyone would give this a negative review. They must've just got a defective one. One last thing: I think if anyone was disappointed with this pool, it must be because their expectations were unrealistic. Clearly this is not a lap pool. Also, it wont allow you to "swim." What it will do is give you and your friends a very refreshing and adult way to have a nice little party on a hot summer day. And at the end of the day, you know loves the pool now? My husband. Five stars!
