Wellness Complete Health Age Advantage Senior Dry Dog Food, Wholesome Grain Kibble, Natural, Chicken and Barley Recipe, 30 lb Bag

I've bought this dog food for many years for several of my cocker spaniels. I researched many brands comparing ingredients and nutrition. Both are very high quality. It stands out among other since it has a Chondroitin and Glucosamine at full dosage. That's an expensive supplement that my Vet recommend for our 7 year old dog. None of my dogs had any stomach, skin, weight or any health issues. It's smaller size than regular dog food. My dogs seems to love it!

Great product

A while back I adopted an 8-year-old husky. She was not in good physical condition at all. Apparent joint pain. Very lethargic. Dental issues. Very overweight. She is now almost 10 and she has been on this food for about the last year. She runs around like a puppy. Her current condition would suggest she is going to be with us for a long time. I highly recommend this food.

Coconut Joe grew up on wellness dog food and now at 14 he's on senior food. Wellness has kept him slim and trim and healthy all his life.

We have a 12 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback and were looking for some high quality dog food to switch to for this last phase of her life. We decided to try this one because of the ingredients. We had been buying our dog food at Costco forever...kind of had to with 2 Ridgebacks to feed...the expense! LOL! (The quality of Costco dog food is really good, for anyone who hasn't checked it out, by the way.) Anyhow, our dog seems to really like the flavor of this food. Of course, we mixed the new food with the old to start the switch. Immediately we noticed she started getting really gassy. We were hoping it was just her body getting used to the change. It has been several months now and we are still at half and half. Her body hasn't adjusted. I can't imagine what our house would smell like if we used only this food. There is one ingredient that she must be sensitive to! But I'm sure not all dogs will have this reaction, and we are still pleased. She likes it, her coat looks good, and she has energy for her daily walks.

We have a lab mix, now 12 years old and doing amazingly well on Wellness Senior. We had a scary experience with another "natural" dog food. After using it for over a year this other brand suddenly made our dog very ill. We did not figure it out right away as he is a lab and will eat ANYTHING. Usually once or twice a year he gets into something that make him ill for a few days. Last time, we did our usual routine of rice and chicken stock. He got better, put him back on the other food, and he got worse again. After another cycle like that, we realized it must be the other food. So we went down tot he local pet shop looking for something better. They recommended Wellness and we have never looked back. After only a week or so on Wellness, Bear's coat got was noticeably more lustrous. Now, almost two years later we still are amazed by this food. I love the fact that it does not even smell like "dog food". The ingredients list is totally free of the usual gunk that is in most food. Yeah it is a bit more expensive, but totally worth it. Even his stool does not smell!

My dog is 11 now and has been eating Wellness dog food throughout his life. My Wellness dog food orders always arrive on time, in good condition and with good expiration dates. I feel good feeding my dog Wellness dry food. He loves it and it has good ingredients/no by products/no chemical or artificial preservatives like bha or bht. I also appreciate that I have never had to deal with recalls with my dog's Wellness food. I just switched to the large bag (even though I have a small dog- so it lasts a while) because you get much more product for your money.

The Transition from the Wellness oatmeal version she ate for years was easy and so far Kira our Border Collie mix is doing well w it!

Excellent senior dog food and loved by my 2 dogs. My dogs are 14 years old.....Shih tzu and Australian Shepherd....On researching dog food I found this to have the most Glucosamine and Chondroiton which is wonderful for the joints of senior dogs!!!! My dogs run and play as they did when they were puppies!
