Porcelain Sugar Bowl

I had to replace my original Mikasa sugar bowl that I had since I’ve been married (32 years) I have been specifically looking for a sugar bowl that comes with a slotted top with spoon. They aren’t easy to come by. Went into local home stores and couldn’t find any. I finally took a chance after reading the reviews on this one. I will say this is very nice .. although in comparison to my old one (which the lid broke after all these years) it is a lot lighter but it does hold more sugar and I don’t have to keep refilling it as often as I did with my old one. I did swap out the cute ceramic spoon it comes with my regular sugar spoon as it’s way too small for my liking. The one flaw is that it does not seal up well around spoon area even with the original ceramic spoon it comes with. There is no tight fit to keep any humidity out. I don’t worry about too much as I drink coffee every day and there’s no time for any moisture to get in. But for those who don’t use it daily, and need air tight, you won’t get that with this. But it is a very cute looking sugar bowl to have on display for daily use. It’s easy to clean and the lid is easy to remove with its little topper it has. I got mine in white which is a nice bright white.

This matches my canisters perfectly! It’s as if it was made for the set. At first I didn’t see the spoon, it was down the side wrapped in foam. It’s absolute adorable. I wish the spoon held more sugar, but I’m really hoping it’ll help me break my complete sugar addiction in coffee. It’s sturdy, made well, lightweight, and hopefully will last for years to come. It’s exactly what I was looking for and exactly as advertised. I would be careful with the spoon since it’s ceramic, but can be replaced on Amazon if necessary. I just use the spoon to put sugar in, then place it back in it’s bowl. I’d suggested using something else to stir with.

This is such a cute sugar container! Sturdy, not very light weight, but it is small so also not that heavy. Color is more on the off-white side to me (and it does say white in the description). Just want I needed to make it easier to use sugar everyday at my house, and not have to use bigger containers or the original packaging.

This is cute, but the cream one came with a white spoon so it doesn’t match which I would’ve preferred. Still cute and still does the job of a sugar container.

Very pretty and elegant. The spoon is also ceramic, elegant but fragile! The spoon is white, I would have kept it the same color as the container but it’s still very pretty.

This is the perfect size sugar bowl for my needs. It has a pretty blue color and finish.

Pretty but way too small. I didn’t read the size so that’s on me.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Just a cute simple sugar bowl with a spoon. They’re surprisingly hard to find, and surprisingly expensive. This is perfect to sit in my cupboard coffee area. Next to a 355mL water bottle for size comparison.
