It appears that both Sally Hansen and Revlon have stopped producing their classic nail white tip pencils. I've tried a variety of other ones, but they were all too hard and the tips broke off a lot. None match the quality I was looking for, that is, until I found THIS white charcoal pencil for artists. I was getting desperate and Amazon added this item to my search for a white nail pencil, so I clicked on it and saw the reviews. To my surprise there were MANY that claimed this was a great nail tip pencil! I took a chance and bought them and I am glad that I did! They work perfect and you use them just like the old Sally Hansen ones. Wet the tip of the pencil or your fingertips and go gently under your nails and voila! A French manicure! And three for 5 bucks? Such a deal! I highly recommend this product!

Worked just like white pencils we had been able to buy at cosmetic counters such as Walgreens for years and no longer available.

Great pencil; just had one of the three that the lead was all busted up inside and couldn't sharpen.

I purchased these to use for drawing stencils. They are a nice quality and work well for this purpose. I am able to remove the lines once my paint dries.

These white pencils are perfect for my drawings on a dark background. Bright white, easier than using chalk pastels for small areas. Good Purchase. Mary

Loving the pencils so far. Nice pigment and good blending, even on a porous surface like wood. Hold a nice sharpness when shaved down with a utility blade.

They work just like chalk, easy to wash off. Almost impossible to sharpen with out breaking the "lead". Pencil seemed to have been roughed up, because I lost about 3/4inch of "lead" right out of the box. Other than that they work great.

Goes on well with pastel pencils. Only problem was it was a bit hard to sharpen.
