Spec Ops Tools Wood Chisel for Carpentry & Woodworking, Beveled Edge High-Carbon Steel Blade, Full Tang Shock-Absorbing Grip, 1" Blade

I use this chisel, and the 3/4” one too at work for fine, detailed wood such as mortising strike plates for door latches and such. I can say that I love these chisels. They’re of high quality and come sharp from the factory. All I’ve had to do is strop them and they shave the hair off my arm. They’re pretty heavy too, which I appreciate. Just a good solid chisel, and the fact they put 3% toward veterans is pretty cool too. I’d say I’d buy them again, but I don’t think I’ll ever need to.

I needed to bevel two long edges on an eight foot 2x6 to fix the top rail of my fence. My father-in-law thought I was nuts to do it by hand. Without this tool, he would have been right. This tool made the job easy and enjoyable, I’m already eyeing the next board to replace. Great product.

this chisel is holding up very well and serving its purpose. My husband has been using it to fit the lumber for our basement finishing.

Quality metal chisel. They feel good in the hand. Not sharp enough out of the package. The 1/4" sized chisel was stamped on the bottom. Internet images show no stamping on the top of the chisel. So maybe this was purposely done due to a wider surface on the bottom of the chisel. Not a deal breaker though.

I needed a set of decent chisels to work solely with wood (not bang around and abuse like my current set). These are good chisels for this price point and will serve me for that purpose. - They are fairly substantial and feel good in my hand. - The weight and balance of each feels right - They arrived sharp and I have not had to sharpen yet, although I suspect I will soon. I like my chisels sharp, so I am sure each user is different - The handles are synthetic (I kinda prefer wood), but I compromised to hopefully get better quality steel and overall product. They are "grippy" and easy to work with, so no issues. Overall, I like them and am glad I made the purchase.

Sturdy, sharp enough and well made

I like the handle shape, easy to grab. Steel is tough, caught a nail on the first use (of course), and the chisel fought better than the usual. It holds it's edge very well so far. Not sure about the shock-absorbing part though, and probably for the better.

Son formones de excelente calidad, buen mango y soporte. Acero muy bien afilado y de alta dureza que durara mucho. Tiene una parte donde le puedes pegar con el mazo y eso es genial porque no dañas el mango de madera que es muy bonito.

Tienen una ergonomía muy buena y un filo excelente, aún no lo he usado lo suficiente pero hasta el momento he quedado satisfecho con la calidad que se nota desde que los vi en el empaque, sin duda los recomiendo.
