One word: Excellent!
I have compared this with internal cross overs of my speakers and the Ashly is far superior. I have two way pro speakers. Two are Electrovoice T251 and one is a SLS T114. When I switched over to the Ashly, the sound became much more clean and clear.=; Crisp and detailed. You need to spend some time, selecting cross over frequencies - best to check with speaker manufacturer. Their Equalizer works fine. This unit gives you full control - gain, cross over, equalization. I have not tried any other brand of speaker processors; hence have no idea whether or not there are better units/brands. If you have compared the Ashly with another brand and found a better brand at a lower price, please post a reply here. I would like to know. I bought the Ashly 4.8 first. I liked it and I didn't want to waste my time, trying out other brands. Therefore, I bought this 3.6 also. Protea software is easy to use.. No need to read any manuals. You can use the software, intuitively.
