Water bottle holder works great!!!
I used this bag on a 6 mile hike today and it was exactly what I wanted. It adjusted easily and stayed in place. It also held my water easily and comfortably. The pockets were very nice too. Big enough for my bug spray and small ones for my chapstick and keys. ***For those having difficulty with the water bottle part. One side has a zipper on the bottom of it and you open that section to use for your bottle. It even has a zip cord to secure it even better. Hope this helps! Happy hiking!!

Well built, capacious, yet pretty good looking fanny pack.
Solid and attractive Fanny pack. Manages to be roomy, yet even rather good looking. Strong zippers. Lots of useful pockets. Reasonable trade off between capacity and portability. Only suggestion, would be to make a slightly larger opening for water bottle. It takes a bit of effort to insert a 500cc/17 oz plastic water bottle. Perhaps the snug fit explains that a full water bottle doesn’t then flop around. I have not and don’t plan on running with this pack. It may not be the best pack for this. Does work quite well for several hours at a time of walking, though. When this rather capacious pack is full of stuff, and it can hold a lot, it does want to slide down a little, as do all large Fanny packs on me, anyway. Answer is to cinch the quite wide, sturdy belt and ride the bag on one or the other hip. Can also carry over shoulder, or by hand. Overall really like this , after trying multiple other Fanny packs. If I really intend a day hike, I prefer myOsprey Dalite Plus Backpack , as it has an ideal combination of light weight, quality construction, space, sufficient compartments, including space for two water bottles . Also easier to carry than a Fanny pack. But for short walks , or everyday use, this Fanny pack does a great job, especially considering it’s good looks.

Good accessory for walking g your dog
It is a comfortable pouch to wear while taking walks. The large main section can hold most of what you might need, including a small umbrella. There are secure zippered pockets for safely holding personal items. Small pockets can hold dog supplies. I, however , challenge anyone to find a water bottle that will fit in the water bottle pouch.

Buy it!
I LOVE it! Lots of pockets, but not too many. Easy to clean. Sturdy.

Full-feature handsome waist pack
This pack is so understated and handsome and full of organizing features that it seems more like a city bag than a hiking bag! I really like that there is no logo, no contrasting colors (though having a liner in a lighter color would be helpful to see what you've stowed away). It's just a quiet, cool, dignified bag. The blue is a great color. The hideaway pocket for the water bottle is a neat idea. If you don't need a water bottle, you can use the pocket to securely stash other small stuff because both the top and bottom zip closed. The bottle holder worked well with my test cases: 10x3" 22-oz capacity reusable bottle, 22-oz disposable, 12-oz capacity thermos. I love all the organizing pockets and how lightweight the pack is. It came packed so tightly that I thought it had no back padding, but it does. But be aware that the padding is *not* between the "hidden" zippered pocket and your back, so anything that goes into that pocket might get sweaty and/or poke you. Unfortunately, I'm returning this pack. It's not quite suited to my intended purpose, which is cross-country skiing. I think it will be too bouncy, the way the water bottle extends below the pack. Also, there's a defect in this particular bag: a tear in the fabric along the bottom zipper of the bottle holder. The dimensions given on the Amazon page are misleading. The pack isn't a rectangular 15.5x7.5x5". The depth and the height vary. Here's what I measured, starting from near the body going outward: - "Hidden" flat zippered pocket: 7.5x5" (trail map) - Main compartment (a box with two triangular ends): 9x5x2.25" + 2x(3x1.5-5x2.25") = ~132 cu in (knit headband + thick knit hat + fleece neck gaiter + a bit more space) Inner flat zippered pocket: 8x4.5" Inner flat open pocket: 8x3.5" (Pixel 4a cell phone) - Middle zippered compartment: 6.25x5x1" (midweight gloves + sunglasses) 2 inner flat open pockets, 3.25x3.25" each - Outer flat zippered compartment: 6.25x4" (keys & cards) 2 side pockets: 5.5x1.5-4x1" The right pocket becomes the bottle holder. The left pocket held 2 energy bars and a gel. Capacity: 3L. Weight: 9.4 oz

Bummer Bag
Pros: * Looks great * Quality stitching * Good price * lots of pockets Cons: * the pockets are kind of small. My current bag holds all my walking stuff, phone, a sandwich and a snack. These pockets would fit most of those minus the sandwich. * The water bottle blocks the zippers * The water bottle does not stay upright. It sits at a 60 degree angle which means your arm would hit it while you walk or the bottle would just fall out. I had to return this item for a different item since the water bottle thing was a deal breaker. I think they should amend the description to say it fits water bottles up to 6 inches tall. I do see runners with those mini water bottles and those would work fine with this bag. It just does not work with a normal water bottle.
