If relaxing on your deck or balcony is your desire, then this is definitely the chair for you! We must have looked at a million zero gravity chairs but very glad that we chose this one. I will say these chairs are quite large which can be a double-edged sword depending on your outdoor deck/patio situation. For an actual size reference, I live in an apartment that is your average 750 sqft. My balcony on the second floor is the same average size that most balconies are in your cookie cutter apartment buildings. About 6ft deep and 10 or 11ft wide. I had to put the chairs (2 of them) at an angle in the corners but they did both fit. The fabric is very durable and all of the grommets that have the lacing attaching the frame to the fabric seat, etc. is heavy and well sewn. The grommets also are the same. They appear that they will not tear and will hold a considerable amount of weight without looking strained. There is a headrest that is not anything special but a nice addition. There is a small side table with cup holder that folds up under the chair when storing. I was a little hesitant to get excited about that but it turns out to be a nice addition to the chair. It is not wiggly and doesn't feel like the weight of all my stuff (a 32 oz tumbler, phone, speaker...various other items). I did have a bit of a problem figuring out how to secure it once unfolded but I did eventually figure it out. The chair has lock mechanisms that you can engage to keep the chair at whatever position you would like. It reclines WAY back. Almost too far for me but very nice! I do have some issues getting it from a reclined position to a sitting position but I am short and I have found if I just lean my body forward slowly the chair will right itself easily. We priced many chairs while shopping and for the price that was paid and the quality of the chair I am very happy. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a nice chair. If you are a heavier or bigger individual, these should be a good fit for you as well. They are quite long and definitely wide enough that at 175lbs I can fit myself and my cat and a pillow from my bed along with my blanket (it's chilly in the evening!) with no problems. There is plenty of room. More room than an airplane seat if that helps! I will definitely check back in and add some photos for this review because I know that was a big thing was seeing what it actually looked like with real people in them in real situations - like my tiny balcony! I’ve only had these chairs for an afternoon and I’m already ready to hand out 5 stars. Originally I had bought different (similar style but the smaller standard size) chairs from a different brand that were about half the price of these - they were not sturdy, not comfortable, had a detachable cup holder that never sat flat and after 3 weeks and 1 rain storm started rusting in every possible spot. I decided to return them and bought these as a replacement. These are about 1000 times better than the other chairs and worth every penny. They are extremely sturdy and I have no questions about the integrity of the listed weight limit. Whether you are on the plus side of size or perhaps very tall you will be very comfortable. Most people will enjoy a very roomy seat regardless of size. The glide when putting the chairs back is very smooth, the cushion is padded and there is a lock to keep you in the position you want to be lounging. The table is attached and can slide under to be stored or pulled out and attaches so it is flat and sturdy. As far as long term durability, that remains to be seen but I believe they are sturdy enough to last a long time if well cared for. I’m sure all of these types of chairs will eventually rust in the right conditions - I’ve decided not to find out and bought covers to protect them from rain and sun and also birds and stuff falling from the trees when not in use while sitting on my deck and they will be stored indoors in the winter. A+ on these chairs in every possible way.

This chair is pretty much what I expected: larger than your average lawn chair, easy to lean back and forward, and fairly comfortable. I like the adjustable pillow. You can slide it up and down so it can function as lumbar support or a headrest. Because of the chair's large size and sturdy construction, it is on the heavy side, not easy to carry if you're not strong. I wouldn't want to lug this to a family get together. I will probably just use it exclusively at home. I only weigh 135 pounds so I can't speak to the weight limit on the chair, but it seems really strong, like it could hold a lot of weight. --- The only problem with this chair is the ill-conceived cup holder/ side table. I couldn't figure out how to open the chair without having to break it off. I'm not a stupid person, but I'm also not a very patient person and I want things to be intuitive. This cup holder was not intuitive at all in my opinion, so I just decided to live with not having one attached to the chair. Not a big deal because I can just have an end table next to the chair, but annoying to pay for a feature that doesn't work.

This chair is awesome! I have been using this type of chair for several years as a bed when I travel. I even use it in hotels because of back problems. I finally wore out my beloved Bass Pro version and found this one on Amazon. I am NOT a small human. Just under 6 feet and 330 lbs. This chair feels very sturdy and secure and is extremely comfortable. I read several comments about it being very heavy. While it is not lightweight, it is no heavier than my other big man zero gravity chair so for me it is not an issue. I will take it camping and on any overnight trip. It operates smoothly, the locking mechanism works perfectly and the padding is just right for me. As time goes on I will update this review if there are any failures or problems. I was looking for a chair to use after surgery to help me get up in the morning. I wanted a wide chair so it would feel more like a bed, with a lot of room on the side for my arms and a blanket. The easiest way to recline and raise the chair is for a person to push on the bottom bar to control the chair. I was concerned that at 5'1", this chair would be too long for me, and I would not be able to recline and raise it comfortably, especially after the surgery. Turns out I can reach the bottom bar without a problem. However, the back support was uncomfortable when I reclined because I was not sitting far back enough. I solved this problem by adding a back support cushion. The problem I did not anticipate was that I would not be able to reach the locks on both sides of the chair at the same time because of the chair's width. To lock and unlock the chair, I have to do it one side at a time, which means at some point, my entire weight is supported by just one lock. I try to minimize the pressure by continuing to press down with my back, but it is likely to shorten the life of the chair. The reclining position is comfortable, and reclining and raising the chair is easy. I had trouble locking the table in place. The pin the instruction told me to lock was just spinning and spinning. Turns out you need to snap it onto the pin on the side of the table so it just hooks onto the pin. Instructions were not clear and did not give enough details. These Oversized Zero Gravity Chairs are just what they say. We bought two and saved by doing so. We are not large people in height or weight. My husband is 6'1, and we wanted these wider/longer chairs. The wide width is exactly what we hoped for as our medium size dog likes to sit beside us and the length is perfect for a taller person. Other chairs that claim to be XXL size are still not long enough for taller people. I'm 5'6 and this chair fits me well in length and even more comfortable than shorter lengths. I have enough room to have a small child sit with me. We are very happy to have extra wide chairs like these. The folding side cup holder is also a grand idea as it doesn't fall off like other chairs do. These are great for larger people or for those needing extra room in width. They really are 33" Wide. Our last chairs were 28"

I bought this chair as a surprise for my husband. He liked it, but said it didn’t fit his body correctly in the lower back/bottom area. It just wasn’t comfortable to him - possibly because he needed the regular size chair instead of this one. He ultimately decided to return it. However, he said it was well made. It reclines easily, the movement of it is smooth, and is truly oversized. It is ready to use right out of the box. If it fit his body better he would have kept it. He encourages others to try this chair.

I wanted to wait a little while before I commented on this chair. I am a large individual so I have a hard time finding chairs and was worried this one would not stand up. The chair is very sturdy and feels like it could handle more than my weight (around 325lbs to 330lbs) The chair is nice and light and oh boy that zero gravity thing, this chair is more comfortable than any I have ever purchased or sat on. The little drink holder/table is an awesome feature. I can't comment on how it holds up to the elements since I plan on using the chair indoors but it feels sturdy and durable. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Very comfortable chairs for summer time. Nicely padded, the XXL version has plenty seating space. Zero gravity feature allows it to be easily reclined and locked in position.

Very comfortable chair, great quality. The core body weight is supported without an opposite force from the usual flat surface chairs, very useful if you have a healthcare issue.

Bought this zero gravity chair as a gift. She loves it and says she can’t live without it now.
