What's the width of the crimp? Is it the same for all sizes?

The width of the crimp is determined by the thickness of the tool material and that is about 1/8" maybe a little less. I use mine for crimping motorcycle terminals and it works well.

doesn't work for TE deutsch connectors

it's just the wrong size between over and under-crimping it doesn't fold the tabs over either could be made for a different connecter I'm not sure
