Great value, especially on sale
I picked up the Mint Unlimited plan when it was 50% off, and it turned out to be a great deal. We used it for family visiting from overseas who stayed with us for about three months, and it worked really well. The data speeds were fast and reliable for everyday use, so there was no need to pay for expensive international roaming. Activation was straightforward, and having a local number made things much more convenient during their stay. Overall, Iโd definitely buy it again when itโs on sale.

Excellent pricing & Easy to Activate
I was able to change my provider to Mint, keep my phone number and have it ported, and make a phone call in less than an hour with this package. Activation was super easy and I had zero issues! I bought the unlimited for $15/month @ 3 months. I wish I had more money to invest so I could have gotten the entire year. I was paying four times that with Verizon for 3 years plus more for my tablet. I will never do that again! I always wanted the option to get a discount for paying multiple months which no other company currently offers. The only downside is the data caps, but even they aren't significant. The data speeds are about the same as Verizon at a quarter of the cost. I haven't had issues with dropped calls caused by this provider. The connection issues are local and specific to my local home area and have happened with every major provider. I am happy with my service and look forward to snagging another deal to continue service when my 3 months are over.

Far from perfect and not stress free...
I arrived from the UK for a 6 week stay in the USA and my UK service provider suggested I get a pay as you go SIM to keep costs down. I have never used pay as you go before. I tried to activate the SIM by phone, but none of the options seemed appropriate for my circumstances. I was put through to an agent. Keeping my UK number would have been my choice, but the agent advised against doing this. But it was an option. I was reluctant, but agreed. He took my details and he repeated them back to me. He recorded the wrong email address and I corrected him. I spelled my email address out phonetically. I was on the phone for ages when we got cut off. But I got a welcome message. So I figured everything was OK. If there was a problem, he would have phoned. I was asked by AI to set up voice mail, which I duly did. After this, I realised that my phonecalls were coming to my old UK number and I was getting them. So WhatsApp worked as before. I assume texts were going to my USA number? But I wasn't getting them. So security conformation numbers for online purchases and high amounts in stores, weren't getting through. I wasn't getting UK voicemail either. I phoned Mint a couple of times and when I went through my details, my email address, which is AOL was recorded as IOL. I should have got a welcome email. I still haven't recieved it, so I'm guessing that they still have the wrong email address recorded. The last agent I spoke said you couldn't have a Mint SIM with a UK number. I pointed out that is exactly what I have. I asked her to leave things the way they were. Far from perfect and not stress free, but I'll manage.

Best phone service I've ever had!
Got this during mint mobile's promotion for buying a.3, 6, or 12 month plan, and getting another 3, 6, or 12 months free. Was super easy to install, just followed 3 quick, easy steps, and stuck the sim card they sent me into the phone and it started working instantly. I didn't have to restart the phone or register anything, just started working. Checking my account with my plan details, it looked as if I didn't receive the additional 3 months free, so I called their customer service. Got someone who spoke English, with an American accent. Wait time for customer service was less than a min. (Have never had to wait more than a min. or 2 the very few times I have called). The gentleman was very friendly and professional in his speech. It turned out that because I got my sim card through Amazon it did not qualify for their promotional offer. I told him I didn't realize that, and he quickly said to hold on a minute. Got right back on the phone and said, " look, you didn't know you had to get the plan through our website, and we want you to be happy with your new service with us, so I'm going to go ahead and give you the 3 months free." He also spoke like a regular person that wasn't reading off a script. Reception has been about the same as other phone service providers, but for the price and the amazing customer service, I'm perfectly fine with that! Where I live, no provider seems to be super fast and completely clear, it's a remote area. When in town, however, it works excellent. Even in places I couldn't get service with other providers P.s.....If you have a newer phone (you can do a search on their website, or pull down a list to select from to see if your phone is on the list), you don't even have to order a new sim, they can register your IMEI and you can start your plan right away. So, so happy with this company!!!

Good inexpensive alternative to mainstream cellular providers.
This is a no brainier for unlimited voice/text/internet over 3 months. Then you have to re-up for 6 months or a year to get this price. Notice I said internet and not data. While internet is data you won't be able to use your phone as a hotspot. While they advertise that as being included. I have yet to get it to work on a Galaxy S-21 Ultra 5G, or a TCL-40 XL 5G. In spite of the recommendations from Mint Mobile Text Support Reps. I'm sure this could be fixed by a technician at a physical store location, but where are they and who has time for that. Finally it's not like there aren't other options. Excluding that minor irritation the service has been awesome! No dropped calls, telemarketers, or excess throttling, mater of fact I haven't noticed any throttling the 3 months I have had Mint Mobile. Their application is more of an upsell platform than anything else. But there text tech support is responsive and tries their best to be helpful. So if you don't care about having a hot spot. Are willing to pay as you go quarterly at best, not monthly, Mint Mobile may be for you. Especially if you can pay by the year!

Mint is choice!!
Mint mobile is awesome. It was easy to setup and activate. I just got a new plan for my now 14yo and added her to the family plan with my 17yo. Plan prices are fair with great call/data service in my area. Iโve been actually thinking about switching myself since Iโm paying triple with T-Mobile.
