Panda Licorice Soft Chews Black, 7 Oz

It tastes just like I remember, but I haven't had it for many years. Back when I last had it, it still came in little boxes. Anyway, I was a little concerned seeing some reviews talking about stale and hard pieces, but mine have a best by date of more than a year from the time I received it, and they are very fresh and soft. I also thought 7 ounces wasn't very much, but I somehow missed the detail about 7 servings of 11 pieces, being roughly 77 pieces per bag (i.e. if your bag is like mine, a few pieces will get obliterated, but a majority of them will be intact), so there's more per bag more than I personally expected, and, in fact, it might actually be the original amount from many years back, but I'm not sure. It's a bit expensive, but it always has been. I personally find it's worth it for a rare, quality treat. I do miss the box they used to come in, but that's just a personal nostalgia thing.

I really like this licorice. The flavor is a classic licorice flavor but not overpowering. The soft texture makes it easy to enjoy as a snack at home or on the go as well. I like the short and sweet list of ingredients. It is straight and to the point about what you get!

Wow. Just what I hoped for. Soft with slight chew. Does not stick to teeth like brands with wheat and sugar. Great licorice flavor.

I am 82 years old and of all the licorice candies I have recently tried these are closest to what I recollect. Only issue is extruded small extremely thin walled pieces that collapse to almost dust in your mouth. Make them like nibs even with less pieces per bag. Good licorice, poor presentation.

This tastes like the old fashioned licorice I used to eat as a child. It's got the right amount of molasses for the sweetness. It's got licorice extract and anise oil. I will definitely order again. I hope they have a larger quantity.

No sugar or sugar substitute. Molasses. No waxes. Delicious.

Very balanced licorice taste, not overly sticky in package so not a problem . When eating the chew is desired as it does not tend to stick to your teeth at all.
