I started using the Dermalogica Clear Start Breakout Clearing Foam Wash in April 2025, and it has been a game changer for my skin. It cleans my face really well without drying it out, which is hard to find with breakout-focused products. It’s gentle, effective, and perfect for sensitive skin. Overall, just an all-around great cleanser.

I’ve been using this for a few years. Smells like oranges and fragrance is light. Lathers well. I think it helps with everyday break outs but for cystic pimples I need an additional product, I use good molecules niacinamide serum. They work well together. I have oily skin. Good value for size.

This is one of the only facial cleansers I trust over and over again. The quality is amazing. When I use it, I feel as clean as after receiving a facial. It does not dry my skin, and makes it so soft to the touch. I still have some acne, it's not perfect, but this definitely helps prevent breakouts and oil production without stripping the skin. I love Dermalogica! The bottle itself came new and unused. I would purchase again.

I’ve been using Dermalogica for years now, and specifically this cleanser, and it’s worked wonders for my acne and oily face. I love how this product cleanses well while also not being harsh on my sensitive skin. Highly recommend. The large bottle also lasts me a very long time, I literally use a pea size amount each time, so well worth your money.

Its helped clear out my skin on my face back and chest. I think its pretty good quality for the price and its a good sized container it foams well and It hasn't irritated my skin.

I’ve been using this product for years since it hit the market and I often refer people to this product when they compliment my skin. One night my husband told me he needed a new face cleanser so I told him he could use some of mine till he got more of his. Long story short he jacked it from me so I had to order more. This product paired with a nice moisturizer before bed will leave your skin feeling clean, smooth and soft

Seems to be effective on my teens skin

So I have been using this product for a while. My acne isn’t severe but it’s those small white pimples I’m guessing from sweat that have been bothering me lately. I usually use neutrogena but found it was so harsh on my skin this past winter that I stopped using it bc it was causing some premature wrinkles/aging on my face. Im only 23 so that was def a no go. I found this product and have seen numerous of my friends use it. So I figured why not try it since the other stuff I usually use is breaking me out more. As soon as I got it in the mail I washed my face with it. It has a stronger green tea/tea tree oil kind of smell to it and it’s like a gel but when combined with water it turns into a sudsy/foamy wash. I don’t mind the smell tho honestly. I’ve been using it for about a month now and have noticed my breakouts are become smaller and smaller by the week. My pores have shrunken a lot around my t zone and cheeks and lawddd I have been waiting to find a product that actually helps with larger pores. I recommend this product to anyone dealing with acute stubborn acne since that’s what I have and it has cleared it up little by little. The thing about face washes is that ppl want the immediate results but your skin takes time to accept these chemicals so patience is key!! I am honestly satisfied with the results of this product!!

I've always been a fan of Dermalogica. Previously, I'd used Special Cleansing Gel religiously, but I started getting a few zits here and there and some milia-type bumps. I decided to switch to this cleanser and I love it. It does an excellent job at cleansing, helps with the occasional break-out situation, is gentle and doesn't strip or leave my skin dry. And of course it has a very light fresh scent. Another Dermalogica hit!
