Timothy Hay Pellets, 12 lb

No fillers or junk in these pellets. They are made out of 100%, high quality timothy hay (I think 3rd cutting, a favorite for bunnies). They are a rich deep meadowy green, finely ground, tightly pressed into awesome, super long pellets. They are truly the best Timothy hay pellets you can buy. They are worth every single penny.When I first found these pellets, my bunnies made it clear that they love them, and are now so spoiled, they hate all other pellets. Every other brand they tried, they hated. When these pellets were unavailable for a short time, my bunnies practically revolted against me, teaming up to war against the lack of their favorite snack. They refused any other pellets, and the photos show exactly why. I was worried the VF pellets wouldn't come back in stock, that I even wrote to Viking Farmer, via their website, to inquire if they'd come back. When the listing 1st came back on Amazon, I immediately put in a pre-order for several bags! My bunnies are rejoicing. Peace has been restored.My bunnies are on a special diet, mostly fresh fancy salads and hay, so I am keenly aware of what they can eat. I have an elderly dutchie bunny with a delicate stomach, and she gets pellets as a treat. All pet store pellets/treats are awful and unhealthy for bunnies, containing soy/wheat/molasses that are terrible for bunny tummies. Even amongst 100% hay pellets (like Exotic Nutrition), Viking Farmer pellets are above and beyond high quality. I absolutely love these pellets, and plan to stock up on several more bags to keep my bunnies happy (and non-warring).Seriously, these pellets are fricken awesome. Your pets won't be disappointed, and you can feed them knowing these pellets are 100% high quality Timothy hay. They don't sponsor me in any way or asked for a review. I bought these Timothy Hay Pellets for my two furry friends, and they can't get enough of them. They are like crack for bunnies. Every time I open the bag, they come running and hopping like crazy. They would probably sell their souls for a pellet. I like that they are made of pure timothy hay, which is good for their digestion and teeth. No artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives here. Just wholesome, natural goodness. These pellets are the best treat for my bunnies, and I highly recommend them.

My guinea pigs won't eat this pellet yet at all. I am in the process of switching them over to it, off a lower quality filler pellet I used to get them at big box stores. I did more research and found the Viking Farmers products, and ordered a bag to try out. I was really pleased with the recyclable packaging, the fresh smell of the pellets when I opened the bag, and the consistency of color, size and overall quality of the hay pellets. But like anything, going from junk food, to healthy food is going to take them a bit to adjust. I also ordered hay boxes from Biking Farmer, and I'm really happy with those as well. The overall health of the piggies has improved in the month n half I've had them on it. Shining eyes and skin and fur, energy levels,etc.

I wasn't sure at first that these were going to work out for my guinea pigs as they are very hard, but my guinea pigs gobble them up very fast!! I love how deep green they are as compared to basically all other pellets available. AND you don't get all the nasty fillers. If you feed your guinea pigs veggies and hay then no need for all the vitamins and minerals they put in those other pellets.

Received this yesterday and it only weighs 3.1 pounds so not a 4 pound bag. The product looks fresh and the guniea pigs seemed to like them at first. But now they won’t touch them. They are really long so they don’t work well with the automatic feeder we have. They get stuck and won’t come down the opening. Wish they were shorter so we could use with the feeder. I love that they are made in the USA but will have to find shorter ones so we can use it while on vacation. But if your just scooping in then these are perfect and I would definitely recommend. Wish our girls would eat them. We’re hoping they will eventually eat them. I’m wondering if they are to long and to hard for them to chew.

My Holland Lop goes wild for these! We use them as a treat for play time - it's so nice to have something he loves without having to worry about extra sugars or unhealthy ingredients. They are longer than pet store pellets but he has no problem eating them whole (although they break in half pretty easily to put into treat balls or snuffle mats, too). We just reached the bottom of the bag and there was very little dust and no unusable broken pieces. Will definitely buy again!

These pellets from Viking farmer are my rabbits absolute favorite. I've tried so many different brands and these are his go to. He begs for them the same way he would a banana. I just wish they were back in stock.
