Color Burst Permanent Markers, Ultra-Fine Tip, 24 Count - Writing, Drawing, Arts & Crafts, Teacher Supplies

I bought a bunch of colorful Sharpies recently to draw/write on slightly glossy cardstock, and they work great! Much better than regular markers, which don't dry as fast and will smudge as you draw, and (surprisingly) pick up lint as well after the ink dries on the glossy cardstock. These Sharpies don't have any of those problems. I'm also surprised by the versatility of Sharpies for drawing. You can shade with them by going over the intended darker areas multiple times, "mix" colors by layering them on top of one another, and create color gradients (using a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol or a colorless alcohol marker helps!). The only downside is that there's no true "erase" mechanism, though you can cover up lighter colors with darker colors and applying alcohol to an area does lighten the color a bit, especially if was newly added. My color swatch chart is made from my current entire collection of Sharpies. Mystic Gems: Red, Orion Orange, Peach, Amber, Citrine, Geode, Jasper Green, Green, Mint, Aquamarine, Teal Tiger's Eye, Peacock Blue, Light Blue Topaz, Violet Chalcedony, Tanzanite, Blue, Purple, Purple Fluorite, Lavender Mica, Pink, Cabochron Coral, Rose Quartz, Black, Celestial Gray (wonderfully unique colors, my favorites are "Aquamarine", "Light Blue Topaz", and "Rose Quartz") Color Burst: Red, Racey Red, Orange, Peach, Yellow, Supersonic Yellow, Lime, Green, Mint, Jetset Jade, Aqua, Brilliant Blue, Sky, Blue, Navy, Purple, Lilac, Berry, Magenta, Power Pink, Pink Lemonade, Brown, Black, Slate Gray (a great set of basic colors) I also bought the Portrait 12 count (great for drawing people) and Glam Pop 34 count (there were just a few colors I really wanted from that set, including "Bright Purple", "Surf", and "Turquoise").

These markers are high quality with vivid colors. They are great for poster boards and for drawing pictures that don’t have super fine details. They dry fast on paper and relatively fast on other surfaces. It is permanent marker though so it will stain clothes, couches, walls etc. cleaning it off of plastic is easy with nail polish remover or alcohol. If you are going to use them for coloring books put another piece of paper behind the page as they will bleed through to the back of the page and onto the next page beneath. *Left handed people may have issues with smearing the ink.

I love these so much. Obviously sharpie is a trusted brand and I use these for my geometric coloring pages. Other than the offputting smell, they are amazing and I am always searching for new colors.

I got used-like new. All the markers gave ink, only 3 or 4 were questionable as I swatched them. Those markers put out less ink when dragged on the paper

I bought these to color with. While they bleed through the page, like most sharpies, they are incredibly bright and smear resistant. They dry fast which I like because i'm able to color other sections with other colors and not worry about them bleeding together or messing up the overall picture.

So I was so excited to get to try these! I love sharpie pens and as always, these were great too!! They have a toy story 5 theme and I have to admit that I am kind of excited about the movie even though I am an adult. I may have to watch the other ones again first. It has been so long since the first one came out. As expected, the colours are vibrant. This pack is neat because there are colours that are pretty much the same but subtly different so it could make it more fun to create with them. I love adult colouring pages where the paper is thick enough that I can use markers. The one drawback to sharpie markers is that they do go through thinner paper so it is something to keep in mind. I absolutely love this pack though and the colours in it. I did some of them on some looseleaf to try them out. I cant wait to use them more!!

My students used these yesterday to colour pictures of Easter eggs. Very pretty.
