A "must-have" addition to our boat's safety equipment.
We own two power boats and carry these safety plugs on both. In addition we carry a pair of the smaller Forespar plugs and a set of wooden plugs and a mallet. Much better in an emergency than trying to stuff rags in leak!

One of the greatest purchases I hope to never use.
This is a great update to an age old idea. (tapered wooden plugs for emergency use) I have not owned it for a long time so I cannot say how long it will remain pliable and useful but it appears to be well made. I see it being particularly useful for irregular holes that need to be plugged.

Much bigger than I thought
The picture makes it look small, but the diameter at the big end is almost 5" so it should plug a pretty big hole.

Great to have onboard
Easy to use, adds piece of mind just in case. Hope I never have to use this.

Good safety device. Expensive
Good safety device for my boat. Expensive for something that likely costs 25 cents to produce

As described
Fortunately, I've not had a chance to test it and I hope that that opportunity never arises.

that is a great addition to any boater who goes into unfamiliar waters ...
Large, soft plug, that is a great addition to any boater who goes into unfamiliar waters where submerged rocks or stumps can puncture a hull. A very inexpensive insurance policy against sinking.
