These trimmers are amazing. I bought these wick cutters a little less than 2 years ago and they are perfect. They are sharp, they are smooth to use. I have used them to make around 80 wood wick candles for a project and they have also been used almost daily on multiple candles in the house since I purchased them. They have also been used to cut tape on cardboard boxes, plastic zip ties, small wires toothpicks and a variety of other non/intended uses. The metal has not locked up or rusted at all despite being kept near a humidifier. Most impressively, after almost 2 years of use (and abuse), they are still black and they are still sharp. - as a comparison, the pair my father got from yankee candle didn’t last more than a year and those were only used on rope wicks! These are a huge bang for your buck, they are durable and they are some of the most functional trimmers in ways I never intended to need them for. Would recommend.

I love candles, and I like to have them as long as I can, and cutting the wick is a very important part. This one cuts wick easily and it’s made very well and strong.

After I tightened them up, they work great. They seem sturdy and perfect size.

This is a great little device for clipping your candle wicks. It reaches right down into the candle. It works well on Yankee candles too. I chose the black color so that it doesn’t show any soot marks. I recommend this product.

I never knew how bad I needed this until I used it. Getting your wick down on your candles is extremely important to avoid a user malfunction. This wick trimmer makes it easy to trim off your wick without having to jab scissors down into your wax. It even catches the wick once it’s cut. It’s very well made and sturdy!

I had my doubts about these, and whether or not they would cute through wooden wicks, but they absolutely did with no trouble. I made over 100 candles and these never got dull. At the price, they can’t be beat. I think all of the choices were between $5.99 and $7.99, which is a great price, and they obviously have lasted and work very well, even on a double layer of wooden wicks. I’d say they are pretty durable in that regard. For some reason, they want me to say something about the scent, which is metal, so there is no scent.
