Some on suggested this to me but as I was trying to match a shade of red, I was sceptical. It worked well. You do need to protect clothes from the spray and it stayed until the next shampoo. Great to stretch the time between appointments.

I have dark hair, so my roots become super obvious as my hair grows out. Since I don't want to color my hair every 2 weeks, I need something to fill in between dye jobs. I've tried a few of these root touchups, including the powder/brush kind, and this is by far the best. When I was using the powder touchup, I couldn't seem to really cover the gray. This takes just a second to apply and covers completely. I have medium reddish-brown hair (I use 6RB color), so I actually use two of these for touchups. The red is a little too red and the brown is a little too brown, so I use the light brown first and then a little red and I find it blends perfectly. One note though, be sure to apply to the back of your head as well. I was focused on the front and top and caught a photo of myself from behind where I could see the gray roots. Not making that mistake again!

This stuff is good -- much better than the powder that you brush on your roots. It goes on quickly and easily. My one objection is that it is called "red" but it is really a dark brown. My hair is auburn.

Call it my hair spray paint. It works amazingly between regrowth touch ups. Just don’t be too heavy handed. It does get heavy quickly and if you over spray it will come off on your hands or whatever touches it.

It’s darker than it appears in the photo. It is a mess to use. The spray Nozzle is a difficult! Probably with more practice it would get better. Maybe I’ll review it after I’ve tried it a couple of times. The first time I squirted it and made this weird spot on my head. It did cover the gray, but also my scalp too and you can’t get it out without washing your hair, which is probably a good thing unless you make a mess like I did. I will keep practicing with it and see if my opinion changes, but trying it for the first time I was not impressed with the ease of use or how messy it was.

If you use red make sure you don’t get “vibrant red” or you will look like Ronald McDonald! Lol. Just “red” works great for my med. Auburn hair. I like to spray it on my part where a lot of scalp shows. Shake it well before each use and lean forward so it doesn’t get on your clothes or you will be using stain remover about 3-4 washes to get it out.
