Great quality for reasonable price
Initially been using the Steelseries Arctis 9x for YEARS. Replacing them constantly.. they always break in the same place (internal screw on the ear cup comes lose inside and cup falls off headpiece) anyway, didn't want to spend 180 dollars on a new headset again, so went out on a limb after doing some reddit reviews. My experience: really comfy, took a little bit to get used to the smaller ear cups (compared to the steelseries) but the audio is such high quality and I love the fact you can connect to your phone for like music or YT as well as listening to game audio, mic is extremely sensitive and picks up every tiny noise including breathing so I have been using the mute function a LOT. My only gripe really. I also purchased the razer kitty ear attachment to go on this and it fits & looks so cute. I would extremely recommend this for anyone wanting high quality headphones for gaming but not wanting to spend a huge amount. I cannot attest to the duration yet though as I've only been using them for around 3 weeks.

Great Headset for Gaming
People can talk are they want about how gaming headsets "aren't worth it." This thing has been running with no issues for years now. Sound is crisp, mic works great and sounds clear to friends. Great headset.

It's a cool purchase. But it has some flaws.
I was super excited when I bought this as the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Headset for Xbox Series X|S were still relatively out of stock. Once they arrived, they came packed very well and looked quite professional! Once I read the instructions, I paired it with my XBox Series X. However, when it came to using them, it got a little complicated. 1. The instructions weren't too clear on how to mute the mic. If you have them, you'll need to turn the slider on your left ear up(to color red) sometimes, it doesn't work the first time, so you'll need to toggle it again for the headset to mute. 2. There's some connectivity issues between the mic and the Series X. It will sometimes disconnect and reconnect. Also, the remote may disconnect at the same time as the mic. Not too sure if it's the Series X itself, but it never did this prior to me getting these headsets. Mind you, I'm not more than 3 feet from my XBox as it's sitting next to my monitor. 3. You can't walk away too far from your XBox. If you do, you'll need to mute it. Otherwise, you'll make your friends mad if you're in a party. According to them, whenever I walk away, there's always a loud static sound that comes out of the mic. I used to have the Razer Thresher Ultimate for Xbox One: Dolby 7.1 and it never made any noises like that, nor did I ever have any of the the issues I described above. ONLY reason I upgraded, was because I broke one of the ear pieces. Otherwise, I would've stuck with those for much longer.

Worst wireless headset
Please read this if you’re on the fence about this headset. It claims it is built for Xbox. With ‘True’ Bluetooth. The connectivity is unbearable. Truly awful. At first, it sounds awful until you download the buggy xbox app to tweak the settings. After that, the biggest issue is crackling noises every minute or so. Apparently this is a known issue for this headset. It crackles constantly like it is losing connection. I called Razer support and they refused to admit it was a known issue. They offered for a replacement if I either 1. Payed for another headset in advance or 2. Go 3 weeks without a headset until they can determine if it is a manufacturing defect. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I had Amazon send me a replacement. SAME ISSUE. This new headset sounds like garbage. I forgot to mention, half of the time, the mute button does not work. Found that out the hard way when I’m having a personal conversation with my girlfriend and even though my headset is clearly set to muted, everyone in my party can hear what I’m saying. This headset looks cool, it feels durable, it is comfortable, but for actual usefulness, it is worse than any headset I have ever owned. I even turned off EVERY wifi/Bluetooth device in my house to verify there wasn’t any interference. Still, it could not stay connected. Whether I was in front of the tv or In the next room, both of the headsets don’t like Xbox’s. Check every Reddit forum about these. I wish I read them sooner. Like I said at the beginning, if you’re on the fence about this, do not buy it. For $140, you can get something way better.

Quality for the price (Under $90)
I've owned a lot of headsets over the past decade. Here's my initial review after using it for the past month. Like: 1. Easy setup 2. Quality surround sound. I'm using it with Dolby Atmos. 3. Nice Xbox app allows for appropriate level of customization. 4. Mic monitoring works really well. 5. You can remove the mic boom if you don't need it. 6. Very comfortable for hours of gaming. I have large ears and a larger head. Don't like: 1. You need to update the firmware via a computer. App only lets you know if your firmware is up to date. 2. Chat/Game balance wheel doesn't make a sound or click to let you know when it's balanced. You need to count the number of click turns and balance manually. Hopefully the build quality give me 3+ years of gaming but only time will tell. My last headset (Microsoft Wireless) mic plastic casing cracked and broke on its own. Definitely brittle cheap plastic was used as I take good care of my accessories.

Potentially great, sadly the audio breaks up a lot.
I really wanted to like these. The sound is good, they are comfortable and seem well made. Unfortunately the audio breaks up terribly every time I use them. I discovered that others have had the same issue which has not been fixed more that a year after the date of the online forum discussion I was reading. There seems to be an issue with RF interference. I use the Xbox elite V2 controller. Most people reporting this issue say they are also using the Elite V2. I am not sure if the controller part of the problem, it's just what I have read from others reporting the exact same problem. I have also read of wireless gaming headsets having issues due to RF interference in general. Essentially what happens with these is that the audio starts breaking up, then increases breaking up until to sound is totally garbled. Then after a few minutes of that it will stop, and be ok for a while. Then it will start again. After reading about RF interference causing problems with wireless headsets, I took steps to minimize as much of that as possible by turning off the wifi on all devices other than my phone while using the headset. This improved the break up so that it only happens only for a few minutes after turning them on. The audio deteriorates until it is totally garbled, then I sometimes hear a beep, as if the head set has switched to another channel or something, and the audio problems go away for the rest of the time I am using them. I updated the firmware immediately after taking them out of the box. Also, interestingly, soon after I began to use them, my controller popped up with a needed update, which rarely happens. I don't know if it was a patch to try to resolve the issues with this headset or just a coincidence. I have also heard strange sweeping high pitched sounds from this headset. Because of this I decided to return them. Also I will also note that the bluetooth connectivity is such that I must put my phone on maximum volume or the game audio will drown out the bluetooth audio. In comparison, I do not have any of these problems with the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2. Despite many reports that they are sensitive to RF interference, I have not had any audio problems the couple of days I have had them. I still turn off all unnecessary wifi signals while using them. I have had no problems with the app that controls them on iphone, though many have reported issues with it. The bluetooth audio is easy to mix with the game audio with my phone at around half volume. Also the battery life is much longer, and they are even more comfortable and seem just as well made or better. The xbox does not turn them off after you are done gaming, as it does on the Razer Kaira Pro, and you can continue listening without interruption. I am crossing my fingers my excellent experience with them will continue. This headset beats the Razer Kaira Pro in all respects if it continues to function without issue. I mention this for those who are looking for a bluetooth gaming headset, as there are only a few available for xbox, another being the microsoft headset.

Most comfortable headset I have ever tried
If comfort is your main concern then look no further. I have tried multiple headsets from Turtle Beach, Steelseries, Sony gaming headsets and this beats them all easily. Lightweight, large and plush ear cups, long adjustment forks. Usually I have to wear a headset at max and this one I have to put a few clicks in. Unfortunately the sound is a small step down from other headsets I have tried, but using the Razer app and making some EQ adjustments gets it very good. I know a lot of people don’t like the direct connection to Xbox but in this headsets case it works perfect and never loses connection. Crackling audio does creep up from time to time but it only lasts a few seconds. Mic is fine, again not the worst but not the best either. Great headset especially at the $99 price point it’s been at a lot lately.

Good sound quality and features
I am pleased with the razer kaira wireless headset. Pairing to the xbox series x was easy. I havent had connection problems. It has good features, like a volume wheel and a chat mixer wheel. It is convenient and relatively easy to use. Also, a "mute" switch, all accesible on the headphones outer cups themselves. I have used the razer audio xbox app. Turned the rgb lighting off so I get better battery life, which is not bad...around 20 hours per charge and it charges via Usb-c (cable included) With the app, I have played around with both the headphone sound EQ and microphone EQ without issues. The mic is very sensitive. So hot mic alert. I turned the volume normalization OFF. With it on, the sensitive mic was picking up the cricket ambient noise in my home and amplifying it. So I turned it OFF and havent had issues since. The sound is pretty sweet. I use the FPS setting. I have the headphone output on the XSX set to windows sonic which this headset is compatible with. A lot of features for the price, good build, all around good sound. The xbox app is easy to use and optional. I havent tried to pair it to my laptop with bluetooth yet. But I believe it will be easy to pair as it has a dedicated bluetooth pairing button. I've only used it for a month, but so far so good. If anything changes, I will update this review.

Great headset!
I needed an headset to be able to listen to rock, metal & EDM; gaming mostly racing games; finally work from headset with mic! I was using a Plantronic wired 1-ear headset for VoIP. This headset is awesome!! The quality is 5* with EQ settings using a separately Wireless Xbox Adapter*. The boom mic is detachable which is cool since I don't need it when gaming or listen to music. The battery life is awesome as I can use it for 8 hours while I work from home in IT support call center. It isolates very well my ears. Mic is awesome! Headset is heavier then the Turtle Beach 600 gen2 that I am returning to keep the Razer. But generally it is a more tough construction, it feels less cheap than the turtle beach. Leds doesn't work with Synapse/Chroma. There is an App Razer Headset Setup in Windows Store when you pair it with the Xbox One wireless adapter to adjust EQ, leds 2-3 functions (breathing, static...). Sound quality is similar, mic is better on the Razer. The main difference is the comfort! Wow after 1 hour the Turtle Beach was squeezing my head, too tight and I have a small head (Cap size 6 3/4 or 7). I wear the Razer for 4 hours straight when I work before taking a break and I often forget to remove them from my head! Another great Razer product. I bought the original Microsoft USB dongle wireless controller adapter for Windows 10 to work with my PC. I didn't tried Bluetooth as I have earbuds also but will do since it could deliver better sound when I'm outside cutting the grass!! :) Razer 10* as usual!!!

Super comfortable.
Painless association to an Xbox. If you're buying it just for the Xbox, do yourself a favor and buy the other version without the Bluetooth functionality. I couldn't find a way to use the Bluetooth without also powering on the Xbox when powering on the headset. My original intent was to use the Bluetooth for my TV, for when only my TV was going to be used.
