I was looking for a high-quality USB microphone that was simple to set up and delivered clear audio without spending a fortune, and this microphone checks every box. Setup couldn’t have been easier. I simply plugged it into my computer, and it was recognized instantly without needing to install any additional software or drivers. Within minutes, I was using it for gaming, Discord, Zoom meetings, and recording voiceovers. The audio quality is fantastic. My voice sounds crisp, natural, and professional with very little background noise. Friends immediately noticed the improvement in voice quality compared to my previous headset microphone, and recordings come out clean with excellent clarity. One of my favorite features is the tap-to-mute function. It’s incredibly convenient during meetings or gaming sessions, and the LED indicator makes it obvious whether the microphone is muted or live. I never had a standalone mic before. In fact, I exclusively used the mics on my headphones since 2013, and had only really begun using mics in 2017 and onwards. So when my Kraken Kitty headset broke, I chose the HyperX because I was making the transition to IEMs. I bought a pair of IEMs and this mic for under the price of a headset, and I do not regret it. Best decision ever. People immediately complimented how crisp and clear my voice was, even when my mic was far away from where I was sitting. Setup is painless - just plug and play. It looks great in my setup, it feels like it's super durable (yes, I've dropped it twice and there was no damage), and I love the little mute button on top. While I mainly use it for Discord, I've never had any issues with it. Great value for your money, and I would recommend this to someone who's looking for budget mics.

This is very easy to plug in and the sound is good quality while being sensitive enough to pick up my voice without being right up against it. But it also doesn't pick up too much background noise. So when I asked my friend on a call if he could hear my washer or rice cooker, he said no which is nice. But the annoying thing is when my PC turns on and off, every single time the mic automatically starts live. So you have to mute it every time. I haven't figured out if there is a default for it to start muted instead.

Very good microphone. I've been using it for about a year or so, & it hasn't had ANY issues — definitely a microphone for longevity. The stability & material quality of the stand are quite nice; it's very stable, even on an electric standing desk. All you have to do to use it is plug in the cord, thus making the setup & dismantle fast & easy, especially for travel, which I do. The microphone doesn't take up more space than your phone on your desk; in fact, maybe less. The rotation & change of the angles that you can do make it very versatile for different setups & whatnot. The software is very good as well, definitely of quality.

We have been impressed with this. We got a pop cover for it. It works very well, with clear recording results. Does a great job of minimizing surrounding sound.

I’ve used this mic for a few years now. Great quality, I love scaring my friends on calls with the built in mute button. Very helpful feature overall. I still use the cable it came with. Great product, worth it.

Wanted to start making videos and my headset mic wasn’t cutting it. This mic seemed like a good cross between functionality and affordability so I gave it a try. It sounds so much better, but like every mic you’re going to want a cover or pop filter for it. Kind of irritating it doesn’t come with one but minor nitpick. Set up is easy, just take out of the box and hook up to the PC via USB. Had no problem with the pc recognizing it. One weird thing is that it unmutes itself when the computer goes to sleep. I’m not sure why. Haven’t been able to figure that out so I just unplug it when I’m done. Minor thing and could be some weird settings on my computer but still annoying. The mic has a red light when it’s on though so it’s easy to see when it’s active. The quality of sound is really good, it picks up sound so well I had to put a filter on to keep out the AC noise. It’s not that hyper clear super close up warm sound you get with high end mics, but this is perfectly fine quality for most hobbyists, amateurs, or even if you’re just looking for something better than your gaming headset mic. Overall I’d say well worth the price. It’s exactly what I needed.

Ik ontving helaas een gebruikt exemplaar, maar hij was compleet en functioneert goed. Ik moest hem alleen wel schoonmaken, want hij was een beetje vies. Prima microfoon met erg mooi en warm geluid. Je moet hem wel heel dichtbij hebben voor het perfecte geluid, denk aan max 15cm afstand. Als je hem verder weg houdt, wordt het geluid beduidend zachter en ga je (vanwege gain) steeds meer achtergrondgeluiden horen. Als je de meegeleverde standaard gebruikt, staat hij dus eigenlijk altijd te ver weg om echt beter te zijn dan bijvoorbeeld de ingebouwde microfoon van je laptop. Werkt zonder drivers etc. gelijk op een Mac en is beschikbaar in al mijn apps zoals Teams, Slack, en QuickTime.

Tap to mute option is great in this price range which makes me bought this instead of Razer. And build quality is also great
