My almost 3 year old is always “playing” video games with her dad and brother on our Xbox. We have a generic Switch controller that’s not actually hooked up to anything, but lets her feel like she’s a part of the action. Recently she started playing the Bluey game on Xbox One and had to use one of our actual controllers. I wanted her to have a controller that she could call her own since everyone in the house has their own, but didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a brand new controller for a 3 year old, especially when we have 2 extra controllers that no one hardly uses. So I went online to search for a rubber shell case or something of that nature and came across this. She chose the color, which we thought would be more pink, than red, but is still nice and is super smooth to the touch. I’m not sure how an actual gamer would like the smooth feel after a while, but again, she’s only 3 and I’m sure she won’t care. It was easy to switch the faceplates. It came with all the tools you’ll need to switch them, even extra screws just in case you lose the ones you remove from the previous faceplate. My only complaint is there were no instructions on how to switch the faceplates. A quick YouTube search rectified that issue. And now my daughter has a controller that she can call her own. I’m thinking of doing the same to my old controller since it wasn’t a color that I wanted, but what was available at the time I purchased it. Would definitely recommend. Oh and just an FYI, it’s only the faceplate, so the back and body will still be the original color of the controller.

In love with this face plate! It came with spare screws AND tools to install it! I was expecting just the face, but the tiny screwdriver and prying tool to get the original plate off were a lifesaver. The quality is excellent and it’s got a satiny feel to it. It’s just subtly purple and it matches wonderfully with my paw print caps :) definitely worth the money and will be buying more for my other controllers!

My son tried to put this on his controller and noticed it felt sticky and looked absolutely disgusting. He took it off and tried to wash it. All he succeeded in doing was stripping the color off the controller. The paint is what is causing the sticky texture and filthy look. An absolute waste of money for a Christmas gift. This will be returned. The color of it was beautiful, but not if it can't be used. In the photos you can see the original color (darker red), and the other half that was washed (the rust orange color).

If you want an eye catching, soft feeling, classy controller, I would definitely recommend purchasing one of these fine shells. I own two so far, one for my ps4 controller and one for my xbox. It turns the gaming experience into another level of comfort and style. Make sure you look up directions on taking apart your controller so you dont have any problems putting them back together. The shells are designed to exact specifications and look like they are officially lisenced faceplates. A+ cant wait to buy another one for my next controller.

I thought the change to my Xbox controller is very cute and so is the color. It doesn’t feel cheep either. The only really big issue is how hard it is to change the faceplate. It came with everything I needed to install it though. If you are up to the challenge it’s worth the buy.

The cover is really nice and smooth/soft and it comes with the stuff to apply and etc. So that’s nice also it’s pretty cute and thick lol. It also came way earlier than when it said so yess haha I would recommend if you want to get a controller cover.

I bought this for my gf, but when it came in the mail I did not expect it to look as good as it does. Quality seems very good, the texture even feels nice to the touch. Beautiful faceplate, I would definitely buy from this seller again.
