These are a steal!
I haven't had any of these fired yet, but these are a steal. The bottles are 5 times bigger than I was expecting. I transfered some of each color into a smaller container to transport the colors to class. This set had all the basic colors. The red wasn't quite as vibrant as I would have liked so I hope it gains some in firing.

Great underglazes
I purchased these for a ceramics sculpture class, and we all were extremely happy with the glazes. Some are a bit thick, but all of them were completely workable. They mix very well. The price per ounce is unbeatable.

don't buy these underglazes
Was terrible when applying with small brushes. Dragged and clumpy. Needs more brushing medium added to make it workable. Also the yellow burned completely out and the gray ended up a baby blue. I do not recommend this product.

I love the colors and the price. I teach hand building pottery at home and the quality and quantity is perfect for what I use it for.

We like them
Great value here. Glazes needed to be mixed and still little lumpy. Old stock sitting around for a while but glazes really donโt spoil but just take some work to mix up. I guess that is why they were on sale.

Retains most colors but thin coverage
Love speedball Underglazes normally. And I switched from duncan velvets to this to see if it works just as well at a lower price. Opening the bottles, the underglazes were just thick and gloopy. And the coverage is thin in spite of that. So I had to paint more layers just to make sure there was an even coat. Color retained it's vibrancy in electric cone 6 firing. Good price, but if I had to keep painting that many layers to get good bright coverage, I'd be buying more bottles in the short run... So not sure I'm saving that much. Still good results... Will see how I like it in a few months of using this.

Loving it but haven't fired anything yet to see how it looks. But goes on easy.
