This is very sturdy and good quality. Great for the kids. Folds up. Just watch your fingers while doing so. I will buy additional stools for other bathrooms in our home.

I think these look so much better than the giant plastic ones. This one folds up easily if you want to put it away. I’m very happy with it.

Other than being a little stiff to fold, this has been a really nice stool. I like the look of it. The height is good. The engraved groves are a little strange feeling as others have mentioned. It looks much better in the bathroom than plastic versions which I have previously used for years. Someone in the house who does it like these sort of stools, “moved” it out of the way one too many times with a kick. Now one side has fallen off and The tiny screws are stripped out. Not sure about repairing this. Maybe slightly longer screws will work. Hopefully I won’t have to have sharp screws sticking out on the outside, but it’s going to continue to get kicked and will need to be stronger. I’m not looking forward to repurchasing this item every 6 weeks because it can’t stand up to normal abuse of feet running into it.

I’m really not sure why I waited so long to purchase a squatty potty… It took me becoming pregnant & “stopped up” to finally purchase, and I am so thankful I did. It helps move things out so much easier! It’s very sturdy and well built, and is easy to fold and set aside as needed. Although I choose to keep ours open and it tucks into the base of the toilet nicely and is still out of the way. I like the grooves as well, as it keeps my feet from sliding. My husband questioned this purchase when he saw it come in, he was extremely skeptical and honestly thought it was funny. Recently though, he has actually told me he tried it out for himself, and he loves it as well. He said he was shocked at how much easier is was to “go”. This is a very helpful little bathroom tool that I never really knew I needed, until I did!

Particularly poor paint job; would recommend going for the Oslo (unpainted model) to save yourself the disappointment. The bamboo work is good on the top, but has frayed edges on the bottom. Quite frankly - at this price point for a toilet stool - I am expecting a premium product. Shoddy craftsmanship falls short of the mark.

When arrived, the joints for collapsing the legs were very stiff, but they loosened with a week or two and are now easy to fold up and down. Aesthetically really nice and doesn't easily show water marks or anything (ours is next to the shower so it gets splatter). Very sturdy feel and small enough to tuck away.

Amazing. Sturdy, well-built, solid wood. Quality hinges, that are safe. Easy to fold and put away. But most importantly, make pooping very easy and fun. Clear your bowels fully!

Recommend to purchase this squatting potty after a hysterectomy. First I was amazed at how well built it was, very sturdy, and looks good. First well under my toilet without getting in the way and when you need to use it you pull it forward. It can easily be folded away and comes with a storage bag. Worth every penny. And my partner now uses it due to the benefits of being in the right position for the bathroom. We will be continuing to use it even after my recovery.
