It does an okay job and I'm happy about that. But if you want a for sure thing, buy new windows. It's not a miracle maker and I still feel some coldness around the windows, that's probably just the windows themselves. I can't afford new windows, so I do what I can afford. BUT this certainly does help. I will probably order more stripping because I have a lot of windows.

I was really impressed with how well this weather stripping works. It was super easy to install because it already has adhesive on the back, and it fits easily into the space around my sliding doors and windows without any cutting stress. This makes a huge difference if installed correctly. I used it to seal in my storm doors, and once installed, I noticed an immediate difference. It blocks a good amount of sound, and keeps pesky bugs from getting in. You get a lot of it for the price. I still have plenty left over. It sticks well. I wiped everything down with isopropyl alcohol before placing the strips. Cut to measure, and you can double it up if needed. I did two rows because I had room for it. So, it blocks air, light, sound and bugs 🐜 from getting in. The bristles are soft, but not too soft. Medium I guess? It looks nice too, but no one but a homeowner really notices little things like this. I’ve had it installed for a few months now and it has held up perfectly. I see no problem arising with it in the future. Just take your time, clean the area of intended application and measure your strips. It’s easily cut with scissors. Easy to install. Regular scissors cut it well No little fibers floating off to nowhere (all stayed put even after cutting) Used this to weather proof some single pane windows. There was a slight breeze coming from somewhere so i got this to out in the most likely spot. I measured the depth from frame to window and the width of the frame to make sure i knew what size to get and this 9mm wide tape fot perfectly. Adhesive is strong and very easy to adhere (i used dawn power spray to clean up any dirt and residues its the best ive found for cleaning almost anything) It has helped deaden some of the outside noise (we are backed up against the pool area so it can get noisey) So far this has worked exactly as I had hope, no more slight breeze (stopped the airflow). (We have panel curtains that use to move slightly even with windows closed this has stopped) I out this on the window frame that opens with the fiber bits facing towards the outside. Im gonna buy more to add to the lower track as well. I really appreciate this is black fiber. Was a bit hard to find but glad I did cause it worked perfectly and blends in nicely with the window frame. I haven't needed to remove it but i did tug on it to make sure it was stuck stuck and it didnt budge. This may make removal difficult but thats a plus I dont want this weather stripping going anywhere. But if you need to remove it using a hair dryer might help loosen the adhesive. Width and height was 9mm and i put this in a spot that had a depth of 8mm and the frame was 12mm (give or take a 1mm for human error)

It kept the door from being so drafty. Stayed on through the winter. Made door a bit harder to close, but it still closed. Came off during the summer, so it doesn't stay on to be used multiple years.

It worked better than expected..Nice seal and stick. Weather is changing and I don't expect it to fall off with the heat. Good qality.

Didn't use this item exactly as intended - I have a cavity slider door inside my house that would SLAM against the opposite wall when my family shut it too fast. Placed a strip of this brush along the edge of the cavity slider to reduce the slamming noise when contacting with the wall. Door now shuts almost completely silently, no matter how hard you try to slam it. Not its intended purpose, but worked absolutely perfectly. Shipped extremely quickly! Thank you!!
