This is perfect!!!!!! The best tool I have ever seen, and great for a keepsake. I'm afraid to write on it yet - may need to take some caligraphy lessons first or pay some art student to do so.

My son has asked for family tree information, so I ordered these notebooks and the family tree charts from FreshRetroGallery. Both the notebooks and charts came with a quick note from the artist, so everything about these transactions felt personal. I am hand coloring the chart and, having studied calligraphy, filling in the information by hand. I love having the ability to expand on those entries in the notebooks. I hope between the two that even relatives he never met will come alive in my son's imagination.

I bought several years ago and just started filling it in. Shame on me. I love the size and I love I can use it as a quick reference. The numbering isn’t the same as used by typical genealogy lists. Only numbers 1-5 and 48-63 match the standard Genealogical charts. I added the standard numbering to the other numbers on each page so I wouldn’t be confused. I’m using the first book as my workbook with pencilled entries and am ordering another to put info in ink. Would like to see standard numbering added to the book.

I love this family tree notebook for it's simplicity, but it is also organized well and allows for comprehensive recording of family events, etc.

I was.thrilled with the idea of this little book knowing I could pack it with all kinds of information. That is until I got a closer look. The numbering is all wrong and does not match standard numbering on a pedigree chart.

Just what I expected and wanted. Shipped and delivered faster than what amazon suggested.

Exactly what I was looking for and it is perfect that you can get two at the same time : )
