Hyland’s 100 Count, Older Version, Packaging May Vary, Calms Forte, pack of 3

This is a small miracle. It works and it doesn't make me crazy! Melatonin has no effect on me whatsoever. I've tried different brands and forms. The gummy my friends swears by, says she can't stay awake if she tries when she takes it does not make me feel even slightly sleepy. Tylenol pm, which I would not want to take regularly anyway makes me feel weird, groggy but restless, tired but wired. Hard to explain. It's a very unpleasant feeling. The TINY bit of a "brownie" I tried once that a family member says makes her feel super relaxed made me crazy. Incredibly anxious, dizzy, lights flashing, felt like the ground was moving like I was on swaying boat. Heart was beating so fast I was afraid I'd have a heart attack. The worst, twenty five years ago (I will never forget it) I had the flu and I think my husband tried to finish me off by giving me Nyquil. He said it would make me feel better and I'd get a good nights sleep. Terrifying night. Did not sleep for one minute and had auditory hallucinations. The voice which was not me :) and I had zero control over was telling me awful, scary things. So, I am a bit nervous about sleep aids. I need something though. As I have got older I do not sleep so well, yet still have to work, be on the ball, personable and alert. These wonderful little pills absolutely help me sleep and the ground stays perfectly still and no voice tells me to anything awful to anyone.

I've been using Calms Forte intermittently for chronic insomnia since 1992 and it works for me in helping sleep on those nights that I can't. I hadn't been able to find it in the last few years or so in the store and did without, unsucessfully. I've tried valerian root, which works for awhile, sometimes. Melatonin works, but has the side effect of shutting off my natural melatonin stores if I use it too long. Sleeping pills were always a last resort, and I don't like the side effects. Warm milk works sometimes. Alcohol robs you of the deep sleep and has its side effects. Fortunately, I found Calms Forte here at Amazon. Thank you Amazon! I was hoping that it was the same product and that it would still work for me, and fortunately, it is. I take three tablets an hour before bedtime and when I got to sleep, I sleep. I have no residual side effects the next day. For me, this is an excellent product. i have recommended it to others over the years. Most had success with it. Unfortunately, a few said it didn't work. As with anything, our body chemical makeups vary. For me, I couldn't live, or sleep without it. I highly recommend it to anyone out there that is nervous, or can't sleep. It is certainly cost effective enough to give it a try. You certainly have nothing to lose.

Almost all of my senior female friends have trouble sleeping. This is a common discussion among post menopausal women,. Calms Forte contains all natural ingredients and does not leave me feeling groggy in the morning. As soon as I get into bed, I place 2 tablets under my tongue and let them dissolve. Most of the time, this product works well, but occasionally I wake up and have a hard time falling back to sleep. It may not work for everyone, but it does seem to help me. I think the 3 pack is a better deal.

Calms Forte has helped me so much. I have tried many prescriptions sleep aids as well as OTC medications, but nothing has helped me as much as Calms Forte. About 30-45 minutes before bed, after I’ve completed my nighttime routines... (bubble bath, wash face, brush teeth) I take 2-3 Calms Forte tablets and climb into bed to red or listen to relaxation videos on YpuRube. It completely relaxes me and helps me to fall and stay asleep. I don’t feel groogy or hungover the next day as I always did with other sleep aids. I also highly recommend the regular Calms for anxiety & nervous tension. I can take 1-2 of these on extremely stressful days where I’m feeling jittery & anxious, and they help me to relax so I can think clearly. I really love & trust Hyland’s products!! They work for my husband too, although at night, he likes to take 50mg of Diphenhydramine ( one Unisom gel capsule) and 2-3 calms. That’s the combination that helps him. I get by perfectly with just the Calms. Plus, the offer of three 100 count bottles for $16-17 is such a wonderful savings too!! In stores, one bottle is anywhere from $8.99-12.99. I definitively highly recommend!

After some discussion with my vet, and a close examination of the products ingredients, the decision was made to give this product a try to help my very aggressive cat. Okay, the pilling the cat issue could deter, but there is no apparent taste to this product, and ground up the powder mixes well in soft food. He's a 14 pound boy, and gets 2 tablets in the morning, and 2 tablets later in the afternoon... which seems to keep him on a much more even keel with regards interacting with my other cats. I really like that he does not fall over flat, nor does he appear the least bit groggy or sleep constantly as he had been with standard veterinarian tranquilizers. My vet has taken note, and is pleased that this is a very positive result. So far its a WIN!

Hyland's Calms Forte is a gentle sleep aid. Homeopathic ingredients provide peace of mind regarding drug interactions and side effects. Work and personal stress found me having difficulties going to sleep. I simply could not turn off my mind and drift off to sleep. The majority of nights found me awake in bed 1-2 hours past my target time to go to sleep. Tylenol PM would help me go to sleep, but in an uncomfortable and slightly loopy manner. I would still have hurried thoughts, but the sleep aid in Tylenol seemed to twist them out of reality, and my dreams became haunting. I needed a "calm" way of going to sleep. Having used Hyland's Leg Cramp formula successfully in the past gave me confidence to try this product. The formula did not disappoint. Bedtime became restful again. My worries and cares took a backseat as I found myself calming down and settling into a sleepy demeanor. Sleep seemed to come easy and gently. Having not had harsh insomnia, I am not sure if it would work for that condition. If you are having a hard time turning off your mind, with worries looming large at bedtime, please try this product.

This product helps my significant to get to sleep when sleep is fleeting. As a result, he adds it to the mixture of herbs that he uses to stave off insomnia which has been striking him since he turned 40. We were hoping that when he turned 50 it would stop, but it hasn't for him. For me, I can change my sleep schedule so long as I'm comfortable, but that takes under 76 degrees & that's difficult sometimes here in Florida. So I still suffer, but if I want to feel calmer, I will take one of these. ONE CAVEAT however, for anyone struggling to maintain an A1C. Many products like melt under the tongue are made with LACTOSE powder as the stabilizer. The problem with that, of course, is for the lactose intolerant as well as the poor sugar hunter...lactose is milk sugar. So you may be getting MORE than you bargained for when you are taking this to calm you down to reduce the stress that pops up the sugar!!!

Over the counter sleeping drugs are proven to damage long term memory--permanently! So I backed off them big time. I tried not to need these but I keep reordering because they seem to really get results. I take low dose melatonin every night (why doesn't everybody?) but these are a good add-on when needed. I find taking three of them at a time works best. Maybe I'll try more, they're safe unlike drugs. Especially useful in the middle of the night or when you can't take something stronger because you know the alarm is only a few hours away. These won't knock you out but if you have any chance of getting to sleep, they will help, and you can still get out of bed when you have to. I am going to add a quality Grounding Mattress Panel to my natural sleep formula as well (Laura Koniver's) and I anticipate good results.

This is a great product. I’ve used these pills for many years. I take them before bedtime to help calm my mind and help relax me enough to go to sleep.

Been relying on Calms for years, they work so well & take the edge off, just enough for any anxiety or stress while I’m awake Don’t do anything for my sleep though despite also being a sleep aid Tough to find in Canada lately & price has more than doubled Saw these & paid $25+ each but I needed them Heads up, I received different boxes that what I’m used to, also different round medicine like bottles I see that I received by Hylands in Los Angeles, not Quebec as I’ve always had, even buying from Amazon previously Confirmed ingredients are 100% the same, only difference is US doesn’t recommend chewing & the packaging size/shape Disappointed they all have Nov 2024 expiration dates, the Canadian bottle of 100 I’m almost finished doesn’t expire until December 2026 Arrived sooner than expected so I’m grateful for that at least

Doubled in price in the last few years. I used to buy this product regularly, but the price has doubled. Even though the bottle has 100 pills you have to take 3 each night to help you with sleep and sometimes more if you can't sleep or wake up 1 or 2 hours later.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. If you are easy with natural meds it may work but in my case it's a total waste.
