High Quality Milk Paint
I did a lot of research as I wanted a high quality paint and decided on General Finishes Milk Paint in Queenstown Gray. This paint is superior โ smooth application, great coverage and no primer needed. I used it on two side tables with minimal prep of just a quick clean and light sanding. Also since it is water based cleanup is easy. I applied two coats and have enough left for a couple more projects. My tables went from an orangey oak to a beautiful dark gray. Highly recommend!

Beautiful smooth coverage
Love this paint! Goes on smoothly and covers well. Has held up well with use and love the color! I like to refinish furniture and give an old quality piece new life! This does the trick!

Durable and easy to apply.
I refinished several pieces of wood furniture during Covid in 2020 with the Queenstown Gray (darkened a bit with black acrylic to be more of a charcoal color). They have all been through 4 years of use and still look like new. This milk paint is worth every penny.

Wonderful product
I'm not even 100% done with my project but decided to post a review because I like this product so much. I paint furniture from time to time and I've tried many different kinds of paint. This stuff is now my favorite. So easy to work with, goes on like a dream, dries fast, looks great. Tried with both roller and synthetic brush and end result great either way. Beautiful smooth matte finish. A little went a long way. Makes me want to go find more pieces to paint so I can explore their other colors!

Easy to use and flawless coverage paint
I used this on a 20 year old cabinet that needed a makeover. All I had to do was clean using TSP, and lightly sand with a fine sanding block prior to doing 3 coats of paintThis is my first piece of furniture I've refinished and it was super easy to use. The consistancy isn't too thick or too thin, and went on beautifully with a paintbrush. Very little drips and mess, as well as low fumes (in my opinion) with beautiful, smooth coverage. Didn't need to use a primer or anything for the paint to adhere. Also didn't bother with a top coat seeing as it's a corner cabinet, and isn't a high traffic area. Arrived safely in a small box with little metal prong type "locks" on the paint can lid to prevent spilling during shipment. Will definitely be using for future projects!

Great for one-coat coverage, but not so much for 2+ coats
I have refinished furniture for the past nine years, and have become tired at paying high prices for 'boutique' chalk paints. I'd heard good things about this paint from other furniture refinishers, so decided to give it a bash. For items such as vases and plant pots, this paint is brilliant, and covers nicely with just one coat. HOWEVER, if you use it on larger items and need a second coat, there's a problem. I find this paint extremely difficult to apply a second coat on top of the first. The paint 'drags' really badly. I even lightly misted the first coat in an effort to get the paint to move across the surface, but I struggled. I ended up using much more paint on a second coat than I normally would whilst using a standard chalk paint. I love this paint for one-coat items, but will have to stick with my usual chalk paint for larger pieces that require more than one coat. I will repurchase in the future.

This paint covers a multitude of interior design sins
Wow, this paint is great. My kitchen looked like the 60s threw up on it, but we weren't wanting to do a big renovation at the moment. Painting cabinets is the kind of thing you hear horror stories about. The prep, so much prep; sanding, stripping paint etc etc. I wasn't about to invest that much into our old cabinets. But upon finding this product and reading all the reviews, I gave it a go. And wow. This paint is phenomenal. The only prep work I did was wiping down the cabinets with a damp rag. A couple of coats with a foam brush and bam, good as new. The Queenstown grey looks beautiful and I plan on painting every ugly, outdated wood surface in our home with this stuff, it's that good.

Best easy paint!
This paint is amazing! I have used it for several smaller projects and recently used it for my kitchen cabinets on the lowers. I used linen on the uppers. It goes on so well, covers amazingly, a little goes a long way, low smell, great color and coverage and doesnโt chip easily. No priming, just paint. One of my favorite lines.
