RV Steering Stabilizer Mounting Kit (Model: E-353K14)

Along with the stabilizer that goes with this kit, took about an hour under the front of the RV to install. Quick test drive and a minor adjustment later, all works well.

It’s so great when you get the right parts to put everything together.

An impact wrench or breaker bar for the 18 mm bolts is necessary. A sturdy torque wrench will likely do the trick. A second set of hands would make the process much easier when lining up the holes for the stabilizer bracket and anti sway bar bracket on the drivers side. The rest was relatively easy.

Needed for the install on our 2023 Odessey Entegra 30Z. Worked great!

This adapter kit fits perfectly and really makes the install very easy. The brackets are very well made and heavier then I had expected. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow

This stabilizer helped the drive ability of my RV greatly. At interstate speeds it’s much easier to drive, less white knuckle experience. Would highly recommend to anyone with a E350/450 class C. I got lucky an nailed the adjustment first time but read the directions thoroughly and you’ll get through it.

It took 3 attempts to receive the correct item and even then it was a day long project requiring significant modification. Additionally, no installation Instructions were included with this hardware. The instructions I did get with the 31-140 were for the 3 other models they sell - not this one and YouTube videos or online instructions were unavailable as of this review. The 31-140 “Silver” is the red headed stepchild of Safe T Plus and the mounting hardware required extensive metal grinding to eventually trim it to fit a 2019 E350 chassis. The folks at Safe T Plus are nice southern folks. They informed me after the fact that this mounting hardware actually does not fit “certain” E350 chassis’s. That obviously included mine... Safe T Plus and users of the larger devices have some great install videos for it’s other devices (that make it look easy) but there’s literally nothing for this model. When I initially contacted the company they sent me some pictures of a completed install- but no directions. Amother thing that would have been nice to know. You’ll need to drop the sway bar below the mounting point and because you’re squeezing it in beneath the sway bracket it’s beneficial to loosen the opposite bracket screws near the passenger side to allow easier fit. Just FYI. In the end the time it took to modify this hardware combined with the ”figure it out as you go” install time and complete lack of available directions (or incorrect directions) make this my very first “one star” review.

Installed on E450 RV 2012 30 feet.
