Beautiful Garlic
I bought 3 bags (6 pounds) of fresh garlic from Big Tom Callahan's Market. I had sent an email asking if it was fresh and he said yes- 6 pounds may not be enough! lol Well he was right. It's fresh. I was very happy with this purchase. Thank you Big Tom. I am going to roast and pickle this garlic as time passes so as not to let any go to waste.

No disappointments so far. Great product.
I regularly buy their garlic. I plant it in November to overwinter for picking it green in April/May. Good size bulbs and healthy cloves. All evenly sprouted. No disappointments so far. Great product.

Zero Star
I would've given ZERO star, if allowed. They appear to be imported from out side of USA, and they tasted frozen, quite a few of the cloves have already turned brown, dried up, and most of them appear growing mold. One can easily buy Christopher Ranch peeled garlic that's refrigerated at Costco, and they are only $3.99/lb, but this low quality labeled as Christopher Ranch "fresh" garlic is $6.66/lb only when bought 6 pounds (3 bags). I feel duped, ripped off.

Green and brown are not colors I like to see in my garlic.
The product was old. Several bulbs had brown rotten cloves. Other cloves were green on both ends. That is what happens with old produce.

BUY AMERICAN GROWN!
For a long time I have been looking for GOOD AMERICAN GROWN garlic. Finally found this. I am very pleased. I am sickened to have found out about the garlic in stores. Everyone, buy American as much as you can. It might take some searching but it is very worth it!

30% loss
I am disappointed in the quality. Spent the time to peal all 3 bags! Loss was about 30% due to bad spots that had to be cut out. A few were so bad they were black and "mushy." The other 70% were excellent, firm cloves. I probably would not recommend nor order again. If I want bad mushrooms, I will buy at my local grocery store for less money. Oh well.. lesson learned.
