This is not rocket science ... it's a pitcher and a tamper. The pitcher is stainless steel, well marked, holds milk, and has a handle. The tamper is heavy, easy to hold, and fits my machine perfectly. I read all the reviews, and can find nothing wrong with this set. The pitcher does not rust or discolor, and the tamper is solid enough to work very well. Yes, the box has a State of California lead warning, because this tamper, as most tampers, is made if an alloy with a trace a lead in it. Since it is plated and not put in your mouth or ingested, I'm not at all concerned. In any case, this set is an excellent buy and appears to be reasonably well made.

Great value! The tamper and frothing cup are good quality without sharp edges. Didn't want to spend to much, so I'm VERY HAPPY! Picked up a vintage Krups Espresso Novo 964 (equivalent models are Krups 863, 864, 964, 966, 969) for $3.00 at thrift store. The tamper is NOT a perfect fit (tad small) for the 1-cup filter puck...but you can figure out how to tamp with your fingers or my flat plastic measure cup. And then do a final hard press without twisting...just blow the extra coffee grinds away before removing tamper. Not hard to figure out if you're tamping okay...just look at the puck after you remove it (is it still solid or are there little valleys and uneveness...you want it solid). I don't drink espresso daily, nor am I an expert with the machine, frothing, tamping, etc. So...paying a reasonable price made more sense to me. I'd rather spend more on organic fairly traded beans. My last three coffee beans have been from Amazon...I like Jo Espresso, The Organic Coffee Company Rainforest blend. Using basic Krups $20 grinder...also purchased from Amazon many years ago.

The pitcher and tamper work incredibly well. The shape and spout of the pitcher is really nice and is able to froth milk pretty well, though I will say it took some practice to get it to froth the way I like it. The tamper also works well and is sturdy. That being said you do need to keep something important in mind: you need to hand wash it. The tamper itself needs to be hand washed and you should not let it soak in hot water or throw it in a dishwasher. Just rinse it off with cold water and soap and hand dry it. If you don't you'll end up ruining the tamper. So overall, great product just remember to hand wash it.

Love this works perfectly the only thing I wish I could put it in the dishwasher, but that’s just nitpicking at this point. It’s definitely worth it.

I bought an espresso machine that did not include a steamer pitcher and I really didn't know where to start. Fortunately this set just happened to be in the lightning deals when I was window shopping. Its very good quality and the perfect size for use at home. I keep the pitcher in the freezer because it gives the best results, and it hasn't shown any signs of tarnish or rust. Its very sturdy and has some heft to it; it doesn't feel cheap at all, which I was a little worried about because the price was lower than most other pitchers that were sold alone. I use both of these items several times a day, every day, and I couldn't be happier.

First off, the pitcher falls into the "cute" category. It's tiny. But it works fine. the walls are thick enough to be sturdy but thin enough to feel the temperature of the milk while steaming. Also, the size (when milk is measured to the start of the spout) is perfect for measuring the amount for most mugs. The tamper is fairly light and one size fits pro and the other fits home, so to speak. I've used these daily for a week (I have decades of experience with coffee) and I can attest that this is a good value.

I like that the measurements are on the inside so you can see exactly how much milk you are using. Also, the milk stays hot and frothy which is great for my lattes!

Perfect tamper for my delonghi dedica deluxe portafilter. Milk froth pitcher is great too.
