I bought these for a kayak trip in New Zealand. The weather forecast was on the cool side, roughly in the low to mid 60's, and despite having a spray skirt, I always seem to get soaked, cold, and uncomfortable. As it turned out, the weather was mid 70's, but I was so happy to have worn these pants, as I remained totally dry, despite water getting inside the kayak, warm (not hot), and comfortable. As well, I was also able to pull the pant leg up to my knee to wade in and out of the kayak. These fit true to size, feel great, and are well made.

I bought these and a jacket for doing water aerobics in a pool with temperatures ranging from 54 to 62 degrees. I’m 5 feet tall and wear a 14 to 16 pants and was unsure of what size to order. After reading all the reviews, I settled on a medium. The pants fit perfectly. There’s a lot of stretch. I like the fact that they fit high above the waist and at the back. I wore them for the first time today and was comfortable in the water for 40 minutes. The fit allowed for maximum movement and I was able to do my entire exercise routine. Very pleased!

Nice athletic fit without being too tight. I paddle on the Great Lakes and conditions change quickly from day to day especially in Spring and Fall. I like that these are nice and warm for early Fall and late Spring but in colder conditions you could throw a pair of paddling pants over them and be unstoppable in the coldest conditions imaginable.

Best reviews a very accurate and this is an excellent product: The one star down side is more based on you fit requirements and needs. The material is super stretchy and wil fit long legs. My legs are short so the material bunches up at the end of legs holding a large volumes of water so a stiffer material product may be better for high speed water sports. Very flexible for surfing but lots of water is going to rush in and cool you down when crashing.

After 1 year of use: To me, these pants are fantastic for PWC (Jet Ski) riding in moderate or warmer conditions (outside temperatures and water temperatures). For people, who do not get cold easily, even cooler conditions might work. The pants are very flexible and fit snug (good neoprene fit). Easy to get in and out. They hold up well. Great product.

Amazon has put up the wrong size chart for this item. These pants are unisex. They are NOT men's. We ordered the Medium for my husband, based on Amazon's size chart, and they are barely big enough (or long enough) for a size 8 woman. The CORRECT size chart can be found at scuba.com under neosports. Come on Amazon, get it together.

I don't know how well these work as my son was not able to get into them. According to the chart, at 130 lb, 5'8" and 30 inch waist, he is a size small, but the size small pants were tiny. Also the package, which would have fit in a size 5 padded mailer (10.5"X 15") was sent in an insanely huge cardboard box (21" X 37"X 3.5")!!!!! A real hassel to repackage and return.

I bought this for sailing. Usually I am just staying on the boat, but before that, I have to stand in the water to assemble the sail. And occasionally I fall into the water. So as the weather gets cold, I thought I needed something that keeps me warm and isolates the water from my legs. It's a good wet suit, light, flexible, tough, and looks cool. Sadly, I feel warm only when it's dry, and it LEAKS. It seems the thing is designed to be waterproof-- the material is, at least. However, the water is coming in from the seams all the time and just stay there without evaporating. That made me feel bad, so it only gets two star. If the problem is fixed up, I am sure it would get four or even five.

Love the shorts so ordered the pants. The shorts stretch a lot when wet so I went a size down from what I already have. I wear an 18W ladies pant and ordered an XL in this product. I was a little afraid after opening the package as it looked like a size 8, not 18! It fit perfectly! Super stretchy without requiring any effort to put them on, and without feeling constricted in any way. Love the X-Span and have several of their products! Customer for life!

The reviews were helpful & encouraging. The pants go on easy & fit well. I actually did tip when trying to get out of my kayak(at shore) in November & totally soaked past my waist up plus with neoprene boots I didn't get cold even driving over an hour back home. I also want to say the high curved back is very practical (& smart) since other pants ride down as one gets in & out of the boat. PS: I'm 5'9 & the waist length (crotch cross-seam to waist) is good & the leg inseam length is good; rarely find pants to fit without having to constantly try yanking them up-these have "no such issue". I am glad I found these.

I ordered 2 different brands wetsuit pants which are similar price. Neo Sport wetsuit pants is way better and comfortable then another one. I can see the difference of the materials quality as well. Ordered more Neo Sport products.

I love these! When you open the package you will assume they won't fit, but they have ALOT of stretch and fit very nicely, they are just snug when pulling them up over your hips.

Fix like a glove. I was concerned the waist wasn't going to fix, but there is lots of give. I'm 5'1" , 125lbs and the small is perfect. The legs fix good not too long like in some things. I wear these in the winter with the minu33 wool leggings then the dry pants. In -6c, I'm pretty warm and cozy paddling around until everything freezes.
