I got the pre k reading set which comes with a pen and 2 books. can i by additional books separately? will this pen 'read' other books/sets?

Yes, as long as they are also books by Hot Dots. I think there are other brands of similar educational materials, but I'm not sure the Pens would work in those books/sets. We have several books & box sets of Hot Dots that the pens work with. You can also purchase additional pens, like the puppy or kitty. Both of those work with all the other HOT DOTS books & sets as well.

Does this set have the exact same activities/cards as other sets such as the pre-k sets?
