I have a portable air conditioner that is really loud. If i wrap the unit with this will it quiet down?

Unfortunately Noico 80 mil wont work in this case because the noise is caused by the fan movement and it is actually a flow of air that you get to hear and it can't be remedied with this material.

Will this product help with the high pitched noise from tires on the highway?

Insulating the wheel wells, floorboards, firewall and doors would certainly decrease the high pitch noise but it won't totally cancel that. It appears that the source is tyres themselves. Sound deadening works more towards low frequency resonance elimination. Please note that all of our sound deadening materials are to be installed from the interior side only.

How effective is this to reduce vibrations ??

If you look to eliminate the road, engine noise and metal vibrations then Noico 80 mil material is the way to go.

You are to install Noico 80 mil to such key areas, as floorboards, doors, firewall, roof, trunk + trunk lid, rear deck.

We recommend to carefully prepare the metal surface before installation of deadener to it. That would include thoroughly cleaning, drying and degreasing the metal surface before installing the sound deadening to it. You are also to firmly roll down the sound deadening mats to the metal surface with aid of roller. *Ambient temperature upon installation should be not less than 60 degrees F. If a temperature is lower than 60 degrees F then you are to preheat both, metal surface and even deadening pads up to 60 degrees F. That will largely enhance an adhesion and overall effect.
