For the price i can't complain, these are used in my house to keep a toddler from opening doors. If you want something for security reasons i would explore heavier duty chains. But for us it works.

I bought this two pack because I really only need one. My apartment has a sliding barn door for the bathrooms which host most of the cat litter boxes. Unfortunately every dog I've ever come across loves to eat or play in the litter boxes. To combat this, I installed this which is long enough to let the cats through but short enough to keep the dogs out. Sturdy enough construction, smooth sliding, easy installation with all hardware. No complaints. Would it seem like it would hold up against an intruder? Possibly. I'd probably recommend using longer screws than those provided but they could be satisfactory. Doesn't seem cheap in build or appearance so has a relatively polished finish.

Good for price. Used different screws that were longer. Screws provided are short. My husband opened door unknowing chain was locked and ripped out of wall. Changed to longer screws immediately

I really like this is very strong and durable

Easy to install, but you may want to purchase separate, longer screws. Not that it matters too much, as the chain links can bend with a little effort. I've opened my door a couple times, forgetting to unlock the chain, and it's opened the link that attaches to the door frame piece (see photo). I've had to use some pliers to re-close it again. If you're looking for quality security, keep lookin.

It is a very low-end product. Would not recommend. I should have brought it at the local hardware store.

Great functional locks only reason less stars is cause the screws it comes with do not hold the door chain well if open door while on not hard even they pop out even with plastic screw anchors I bought separately so if u purchase I highly recommend buying longer screws and actors now it doesn't come off out of wall and works great
