I don't believe that this particular product will clog the radiator, hoses or heater core in any vehicle.  I purchased this particular product because for my vehicle, a GM V-8 car from 2003, these tablets are added to the coolant both by the manufacturer when the car is first assembled and by the dealer when the coolant is being changed.  These tablets are listed as a requirement to prevent trouble going forward.  With 150,000 miles on the vehicle at this point with these tablets being in the coolant from day one, I've had no cooling system issues.  These tablets are made of very finely ground up walnut shells and are not made with synthetic polymers or sealants.

i have my dads cadilliac ,,with a pin hole in readiator...seems the radiator cap is on the reservoir..can i put these in reservoir??? thanks!!

Thank you for your question, and for considering Bar's Leaks Radiator Stop Leak Tablets (part number HDC) to help with a pinhole leak in the Cadillac radiator. As long as the coolant reservoir is pressurized, you may add the tablets there. For quicker results, you can also crumble the tablets up a little bit before installing them. The proper dosage is 2 tablets per gallon of coolant, and we do recommend installing them into a clean cooling system, following the instructions.
