Now I feel more comfortable with my kids showering alone. Highly recommended for slippery surfaces.

Purchased this 3M safety walk tub and shower tread clear tape for the in-laws shower floor. Being clear it is not in your face. It has increased the confidence level of my in-laws as they are not as concerned about slipping in the shower as they were before fitment of the tape. Being a 3M product the quality is good however you have to ensure the tiles are scrupulously clean and the corners of the tape are rounded to ensure adhesion.

I place it in our bathroom, after that i took a shower, it mentioned to be water proof but it is not, i slipped and hurt my self. Perhaps, it needs time for the adhesive to dry

Fantastic product. I had originally tried to use some worthless stuff that I purchased from Home Depot that lasted about a month before peeling off and leaving an adhesive mess in its wake. I was very hesitant to try another one of these products because I figured the same would happen. I've had this stuff on for 3 months now and it has show no signs of lift, slide or peel. Moreover, I'm using this on a textured (wavy crisscross pattern) fiberglass tub... I had figured that it was this pattern/material that was the problem with the original stuff I bought, but this tape has proven that theory wrong. I'm very impressed with product. As others have mentioned, however, the staple in the packaging is off putting. I simply trimmed around those holes left by the staples, which means the strips that I used were ~5" long. While not ideal, it works very well and looks great. UPDATE: The first of these treads started picking up after about 6 months in the highest traffic spot on the tub... more started peeling off another year later and just this past weekend, I pulled up all of the pieces that I put down over 2 1/2 years ago and replaced them. The adhesion in the lighter traffic portions of the tub was still terrific, but it pulled up without leaving any mess. I had used what was leftover from my original purchase and I still have about 2 feet of material left. This is a shower that usually gets used 4x per day... and is very slick without any tread or mat... so I'd say this purchase was very well worth it.

Acabo de instalarlo en el piso de la regardera y se adhiere muy bien. La superficie de la cinta es rugosa sin que lastime y sí previene resbalones. Es fácil de instalar, solo remueves la película protectora y pegas la cinta, como si fuera papel de forrar libros aunque más gruesa. Solo algunas consideraciones: - La superficie debe estar limpia y muy, muy seca. Incluso un poco de humedad hace que la cinta se resbale al tratar de pegarla y diluye el pegamento. Seca muy bien las superficies aledañas y paredes para que no escurra agua hacia donde vas a pegar la cinta. - No se adhiere bien a las boquillas, juntas y superficies rugosas. Es mejor cortar la cinta antes de la boquilla para evitar que quede espacio entre la cinta y la superficie de la boquilla. - La cinta es transparente aunque sobre una superficie blanca se ve un poco grisácea (ver foto anexa). - Solo vienen 4.5 metros en el rollo. Mide tu superficie pues te puede hacer falta más cinta. - Yo recomiendo pegar la cinta directamente del rollo y cortar donde necesites. Medí las tiras y corte un par pero al pegarla la cinta se estira así que me sobraban un par de centímetros en cada corte.

I was dubious about how well this would work, given the hot and wet environment of a bath base. But it seems to be holding up well so far, and has made the base far less slippery. I followed the installation instructions for pre-cleaning the surface. It's not cheap per metre -- may need two rolls to get decent coverage on a bath -- but seems to pay off in terms of quality.
