What size couplrs should I use for these tips?

As a former professional baker, I'm only aware of 2 sizes of couplers. You don't have to use a couple unless you need to change tips with the same back of icing. If so, you will need both sizes. Hope that helps!

If not using a coupler, do you just put the tip inside the bag, fill it with icing and cut the tip of the plastic? I want to make sure I do it right

I cut first and then put in the tip. Make sure to size the tip prior. Last I fill the bag with Icing

I need to pipe a straight cookie that is 1.5 inches wide. Will the 902 closed star tip do that?

no it will leave an uneven p[pe...look into a basket decorating tip....they come in several widths.....they have a flat stright side and a jagged side....one side makes a basket weve look the other is flat

Can these fit in the wilton dessert decorator plus cake decorator tool cake icing tool?

You don’t need the Wilton tool for this product. You receive all the parts you need to decorate. These tools are larger than what Wilton provides.

I am really surprised at the quality of this set and am excited to use it.
