This product is amazing. I love that you can cut it to the desired size. No need for scissors. It holds on to the skin very well. It’s water resistant and the results are amazing. I loved it.

I've been using this tape for the last week for my one month old tummy tuck scar, so far I like this tape I havr other company that I will try later one and compare the two, this tape is easy to use washable and can be cut to meet the size of your scar, for the result it is very early to judge now

I ordered a silicone tape for my surgery wound, however I would never use this tape with the kind of packaging/box that’s stained, brownish on some parts. when I opened the box, there were tracesk that seemed to have been soaked and dried up. or have been stored for many years. who knows the silicone tape inside that is not sealed might have been soaked to something dirty. i am returning this as it is not hygienic to put on to a a major surgery cut. Disappointing. i hope i can show you the photo.

I gave a 2 star because it really sticks on the affected area for straight 4-5 weeks and prevents keloids from itching. However, it does not flatten keloid or improve its appearance at all. I used it for over 5 months but my chest keloids keeps growing and becoming bigger.

Day of buying:- I just get it right now after reading all reviews from amazon.com so I didn’t know how it gona work so after a week I will give review about how it worked on my scar After 2weeks of usage :- 0% improvement and waste of money its a scame I just got one more scare in addition and too it get infected 🤦🏻‍♂️ When I used this product

Cicatape is the only kind of scar tape that doesn’t come off during daily use, and imo also the cheapest. Compared to scaraway it is stickier and also has more stickiness duration. It’s also not single use like mepitac. For me neither mepitac or scaraway tape actually keep their stick if you wash them off with dawn dish soap, so it’s the only one that really works for me. Mepitac is about 3 dollars cheaper, but it comes off way too easily during normal use and is technically only meant to be used once so cicatape is more effective for me. If scaraway actually stayed sticky for more than one use I might like it but since it doesn’t no way am I buying 6 small tabs for 19 bucks. With cicatape you get a roll that lasts a month or more, and I have quite a bit of scarring so it’s a lot. I’m healing quite well, and I have no idea if it’s due to the silicone tape or not but it’s scientifically proven to be one of the only things so I’ll do it. I’ve recently bought a cheaper generic silicone tape from Amazon and hate it. Not as sticky not as effective keeps coming off. Cicatape is king

So far, I really like this tape. I had purchased the areoma (I don’t know how to spell it) silicone tape and while it is thick, it didn’t stick as much as I wanted. It would roll and once it rolled, that part of the tape was destroyed. I got this tape four days ago and i put it on right away. I immediately saw and felt the difference. The silicone on this tape isn’t excessive and it sticks soooo much better than the other one. I’ve been wearing it for four days and it is still on and going strong. I took a shower with it and i was surprised at how it didn’t peel off. I had a breast reduction so I didn’t need the tape to be super wide. I cut the strips in half and that worked perfectly. I love that you can tear the tape as you go. It is easy to tear off but it is also durable enough to stay put in one strip without tearing. The pictures I posted are after four days of wearing the tape. The scabs and dark spots surrounding the tape are from other brands of silicone tape I used. Those pulled and irritated my skin. This one is so comfortable and it softens as the days go by. Sometimes I forget that I’m wearing it. My scars are super sensitive without a barrier, so this tape really helps with the sensitivity. This tape is almost unnoticeable. I have a surgical scar on my armpit too and you can hardly see the tape. I use deodorant and it doesn’t affect the tape at all. I think I’ll be able to keep the tape I have on for a few more days. As far as the scar healing process, I can’t say much about it now. I will update if I see any or no change at all. For the price, I’m really surprised by the quality. The other tape I purchased was $30 and I got about 8 strips that didn’t last long. They were useless after a weeks of use... all of them. This tape is 59 inches long and almost 2 inches wide. The way I’m using means that I’m doubling up on the length. I definitely recommend this tape for now.
