Can you use wire combs

I found an answer from Apr 4, 2015 - Chris C. wrote, "This is a comb binder only, you would need to purchase a specific binder for wire. One we carry and recommend is the Fellowes Quasar Wire." Another person said this binder is for plastic combs only.

Will this machine punch through a laminated document/page?

Not very well, I've had this machine for a year and when I try to punch through laminate sheets it doesn't cleanly cut through it and then I have to get a scissor and cut off the still attached pieces.

Can I use this to add more pages to a book I've already put together? Or is it a one shot thing?

You can add more pages but it's labor intensive. You have to remove the current binding, add the pages and rebind. You may be able to put the book and binding back on the machine, carefully put the new pages on top and close the binding up again. This also depends where in the book you want to add new pages since you will have to manually put on the backend wherever you are in the book.

Will the book that results lay flat? This is what I need for binding music, which then will go on a music stand.

Then bind them at the top! That's all i can think to do. It's really stupid that music is 1" larger in each dimension. I'm having the same issue. I wanted to scan the book so I can use it on my computer as a pdf, still too big!
