Will this work for everyone ?

This will work just fine for anyone. Don’t listen to hateful comments from the inexperienced; they have no idea the answer to anything. The only thing you may notice about this amp is the delay needs to be turned all the way up for the long delay guitar solo sound.

If you plug in headphones, does it mute the speaker? Can both the speaker and the rec out sound simultaneously?

No, once you plug in headphones, the external speakers are muted.

Does anyone know if a standard 9v power supply (like what you'd use for pedals) will safely power this amp?
