I temporarily lost the use of my hands due to illness and I have been using these to retrain myself in the use of chopsticks. They guide you to the correct hold very effectively. They are well made and seem like they will last a long time.Unlike most chopsticks they are dishwasher safe too.

Happy with these and as a leftie it's nice to have that option!

I purchased these prior to my first visit to China and I was able to use them fairly easily. I was pleased to see that nobody at the table laughed at me either! (a mixture of Chinese and English). I still can't use ordinary chopsticks, but I'm home now!

I bought these to try and learn how to use chopsticks, but I'm not sure if they’re meant for children or everyone, as they’re very awkward to use. I've tried incorporating them into meals a few times but have found them frustrating to hold properly. The rubber bits don’t sit well on my fingers—it just doesn’t work. At this point, I’m either better off removing the rubber parts to use them or buying a pair without the rubber inserts. The positioning doesn’t feel natural, and when I asked friends who are experienced with chopsticks, they said they shouldn’t be held that way. I’m left-handed, so maybe that’s part of the issue. I wouldn’t recommend them. After two months, I rarely use them—it’s just not worth the hassle.

I have always wanted to be able to eat my noodles how they were meant to be eaten but I've never got the hang of chopsticks until now! Finger placement is perfect, it just feels natural straight away. A must for novice chopstick users.

Ab und zu gibt es bei mir im Kollegenkreis Anlässe, bei denen man asiatische Gerichte isst und dann alle ganz interkulturell so tun, als müsse man die fernöstliche Küche ehren, indem man mit Stäbchen isst, aber eigentlich soll nur die eine demonstrative Fassade kultureller Offenheit und Internationalität aufgebaut werden. Bei genau diesen Gelegenheiten esse ich mit den Lern-Stäbchen. Während alle anderen sich abmühen und mit pseudonachsichtigem Nicken so getan wird, als müsse eben die Hälfte des Essens achtmal nachgefasst werden, weil keiner richtig was zu greifen, geschweige denn in den Mund bekommt, bin ich schon ohne jeden Stress fertig. Und niemand kann mir mangelndes Einfühlungsvermögen oder Kulturbarbarei vorwerfen, weil ich Gabel und Löffel benutzt habe.Die Kunstalstoffstäbchen sind für meine Männerhand Größe L problemlos geeignet, sie sind für die Bauweise stabil, leicht zu reinigen und dank der geriffelten Spitzen hält man das Essen auch nach dem Greifen gut fest. Dass es diese Linkshändervariante gibt, ist großartig. Wer mag, kann zweifellos die Stäbchenesstechnik damit erlernen, mir persönlich genügt es jedoch vollkommen, dieses sehr hilfreiche und durchdachte Esswerkzeug gelegentlich als Mittel der Wahl einzusetzen.
