We tried to use the warranty. It is useless. After a dozen emails and phone calls it was going to cost us $25 to ship it back so they could verify it didn't work. Buy the asurian warranty.

What kind of guarantee does Sunbeam have on this blanket. I bought an electric throw from Sunbeam last fall, this fall not working. Not impressed.

Sunbeam does make it confusing. In the description , they have a big banner that says 5 year limited warranty. But if you go into the description, scroll to the bottom and read the Warranty pdf attachment, it says it has a 1 year limited warranty. I bought this in January, it is now May and there is a short in the wiring inside the blanket around the area where the electric cord connects to the blanket. Turn the cord one direction and it works, turn it another direction and it doesn’t. Because the Amazon returns window has passed, and the Assurant extended warranty won’t go into effect until after the manufacturers warranty expires, although it’s not clear when that is. So have to contact Sunbeam. Happy with the blanket up until now!

What are the dimensions?

50" x 60" -- it's not big enough to cover the top of my full/double bed, but I got it as a throw... It's the perfect size for me (taller woman) to snuggle up in my recliner.

Yes, you can feel the wires. However, the blanket is fluffy enough that it's not irritating.
