I hate it! It doesnt even work, you can pluck the strings and stuff and it will make a sound but you cant play any chords! And the ukulele tuner that comes with it doesnt even work. The ukulele is a bit small as well so please if u are thinking to buy this ukulele then dont :) i regret buying this.

Difficulties in tuning.

L'ukulele mi è arrivato un paio di giorni fa e ho aspettato fino ad ora per scrivere la recensione, così da riuscire nel frattempo ad utilizzarlo. È il mio primo ukulele quindi non posso paragonarlo con nessun'altro, ma penso che questo sia perfetto per un principiante. È leggero, comodo, bello e funzionale. Ottima qualità-prezzo, inoltre vi sono montate le corde "Aquila" di cui ho sentito parlare molto bene: penso che la buona sonorità sia dovuta anche a loro. Ovviamente non è uno strumento professionale o comunque lontanamente vicino. Ma in ogni caso, ripeto, è ottimo per i principianti. È fornito anche di custodia, non è granché (un tessuto che non definisco, credo sia poliestere) ma almeno non sta esposto alla polvere. Come ho scritto precedentemente, è il mio primo ukulele perciò non avevo idea delle dimensioni. Sinceramente me lo aspettavo un po' più grande, ma è meglio così perché è troppo carino! Infine adoro la sua colorazione bianca! P.S. Aggiungo qualche foto, così che possiate ammirarlo in tutto il suo splendore.

My daughter is learning the ukulele at school this year and has shown quite an interest so she was looking to buy one for herself for when the school one has to be returned at the end of term. She decided to buy the same one as she has for school but in a different colour (blue) so she bought this. It came from Manns Music and fulfilled by Amazon. It arrived well-packed in an outer box containing the triangular ukulele box inside. The strings were all detuned which is fine, as you don't want it tuned in the factory in Indonesia and then have it suffer a change of temperature that causes the strings to over-tension. I tuned it up to match my own ukulele then stretched the strings (pulling them about 1-2cm away from the frets to settle them in) and tuned it again. As with any stringed instrument with new strings, it does take a while for the strings to settle, especially with the type of termination the ukulele has, i.e. a knot in the nylon (rather than a brass nipple as in a steel-string guitar) and the knot needs to fit snug against the bridge termination which can take some time. My own ukulele (which cost five times this one) took a week or two before one of its strings finally settled down. The ukulele sounds fine for the price and the colour is nicely finished. Comes with a little bag as well, although more for keeping the dust off than offering any protection! Be prepared to tune it every time you use it until the strings settle (as with any ukulele) and you'll soon have a great little uke to strum or pick as you prefer. One little detail that my daughter loves is the dolphin-shaped tuning heads (see picture) as she loves cetaceans 🐋.

I bought this ukulele for my daughter because she has been begging for one for months and she finally saved up some money. I figured I would purchase one that was not too expensive because it is her first one and who knows how long she will use it. Well, that was two months ago and she plays it almost everyday! Even with that much use, it still looks great and is holding up without any issues. Initially it needed to be tuned frequently. Not it keeps its tune longer. It is shiny and looks beautiful. We got the black one and we are not disappointed. It came with a carry bag wth a short strap. The bag does not provide much protection and is thin. It is nice to store the ukulele in and keep off the dust. The instrument was easy to tune and has a good sound. My other daughter has a much more expensive one and this one compares equally. A nice place to start!
