Does this work with Proliant Dl385p G8?

These are SFF cages, so as long as your server has the SFF chassis, these will work.

does it work for DL380 G10?

Yes. The only issue I have had with this drive caddy is that the screw driver that is shipped with it does not fit the screws. Not a big deal as I usually use my own tools anyway. Other that that, it works great in G8, G9, G10.

Does it work for DL360 Gen 9?

Yes, I bought them for DL360 Gen9 Server and DL20 Gen9 Server. The drive carrier tray caddies fit and worked fine for the past 6+ months.

Can i put an ssd in these?

So I just bought the "FireCuda" SSD 2.5" and it works for my HPE gen 9; however, the LED does not work. That doesn't bother me because I use the operating system to tell me if the drive is working or failed but if you rely on the LED for a visual inspection to know if drive is up/down everything is dark.
