What’s the difference between tablet and winding agm battery types? mine is for 2017 audi a4 agm, not sure what type?

AGM flat plate and AGM spiral wound, where flat plate appears very similar in outlook to traditional flooded batteries while spiral wound looks quite different, as exemplified by Optima brand batteries.

State of Charge of my 2.5 year old battery is 74.4%. What does that mean in terms of time remaining on the battery or when it should be replaced?

From what I understand, it is not measuring time, but efficacy. I have been told that you don’t need to replace a battery until it gets below 30%.

with this test a lithium battery?

I don't think so. I think it's only intended for lead-acid type batteries.

Is it capable of reading amp hours of a battery?

It can test the battery's State of Health according to the CCA (Cold Cranking Ampere), so you can see the percent of your battery's power storage capacity available and estimate the Amp hours left.
