Works just like a cast iron pan. Bought it to put in the oven style air fryer to sear. Wonderful results. I also have used it in the regular oven!

We purchased two of these plates to use at the grill. They are great! Lodge always has good quality and these meet the standard!

fits toaster oven for small batch of biscuits
I tried to e-mail Lodge suggesting they make a small batch biscuit baking pan that will fit in a toaster oven, e.g a rectangle 9X7. This "serving" plate cooks perfect biscuits in my toaster oven. Although Pampered Chef makes an amazing bar pan that is the right size for toaster ovens the clay material can't cook perfect biscuits. If your looking for something to use in your toaster oven to bake biscuits this bakes them perfectly even if they must be crowded into the oval shape.
