My high speed suction unit still works but the valve broke after my assistant dropped it on the floor. Unable to find just the valve to match my old HVE suction unit so replaced the whole thing. Great price and works exactly the same as the old unit. Now just need to find thr right fitting valves for these high speed suctions.

The lever on our dental suction valve broke. Decided to order this suction set and the saliva ejector valve would be a back up. After reading some reviews, the first thing I tried was our suction tips and they fit as they should. A couple of things I noticed was that the shaft is shorter than ours but I figured I'd have to get used to it. The main thing is the ring on the inside which reduces the amount of debris that you might want to suction (figuring you suction some things with the saliva and water). I realize that they have to make some sort of reduction to stop the suction tip from going too far but it seems like they really reduced the opening down to a saliva ejector size which makes our suction very noisy. Have you ever turned your suction on part way and you can hear that the airway is blocked so it's loud? This is what's happening here. I find that this limited opening makes our suction loud. Not a very good experience for our patients. Our old valve had a smooth transition to hold the suction tip; this one has an actual edge/ring on the inside. Also, when the suction is sitting in it's holder idle it's leaking air. If we are talking with the patient I put my finger over it to keep it quiet... so it doesn't seal very well when the lever is in the off position. We are currently looking for another valve and will be returning this one. P.S. We tried to pull off the lever from the new one and place it on the old one but it does not fit.
