Excellent tool! I use it mostly for motorcycles because of the tight spaces around the radiator cap and some bikes being notorious for getting air stuck in the system without several tries of burping and refilling. This tool gives you piece of mind that no matter how the coolant piping is situated, all air will be evacuated and replaced by only coolant (overheating caused by airlock is not a pleasant experience). My only caveat to this system is that I recommend that each connection be removed and wrapped in teflon tape to make sure the connections don’t leak over time. I also replaced one of the valves for something a little sturdier. Finally if you start to experience loss of vacuum pressure I recommend trying a few things before you call this tool junk. 1. Set up the tool as you would normally do, attaching the radiator adapter cap to the blue line but instead of attaching it to your radiator just hold your thumb over the hole. Open compressor air supply and open the valve that begins to pull vacuum. The gauge should start to rise now at any point you can shut off the valve and stop pulling vacuum. If the gauge holds vacuum with your finger over the hole then the tool is still operating properly, if not then vacuum is leaking through the tool through one of the connections. Fix this before you continue. 2. Once you have verified that the tool can pull and hold vacuum on its own and you attach the right radiator cap to your system make sure (especially on motorcycles) that no pressure is being applied by the fairings/bodywork onto the line. Just a slight nudge of the connection can cause vacuum to escape and convince you that the system or tool is faulty. 3. While pulling vacuum slowly open the coolant supply line so that coolant reaches the very top of the valve and then close again and continue pulling vacuum. This is to ensure that when you are ready to refill that you do not suck air back into the system before the coolant is pulled. Lastly, I used the coolant hand pump to help me discover bad seals in a motorcycle water pump that needed to be rebuilt. I applied the pressure and the coolant gushed out immediately letting me know the seals went bad. Without this tool I probably would’ve been scratching my head and replacing unnecessary parts to find the problem! I’ve done about 6 bikes already with this tool and is now my method of choice for refilling and or testing coolant systems. Happy repairs to all! :-)

I didn't think this would be so great... This thing works great. Yes you have to swap heads, but if you own more than one car than it is great. I have an 2004 ford expedition, and a 2010 dodge grand caravan. The truck after doing a coolant fill, I could not purge the air for the life of me, kept getting pockets. I used this to both pressure test engine, to see If it had a head leak, and I filled the whole truck with the vacuum fill feature. I didn't want to run out on a container, shut off flow and switch bottles, so I used a 5 gallon bucket, and ran the fill tube to that. Workout beautifully to fill truck. For the price, I highly recommend it. Great blow molded case too. Only real complaint is the crappy, thin chain /hook system it comes with, kept failing /falling off. Other than that,, great build and value.

Works as intended. One of the easy clip fasteners for the air hose exploded in my hand first day. It still works if I hold it down.

I bought this Dayaun radiator pressure tester kit, and shortly after, my brother gave me his $500 Matco master cooling system kit—and honestly, they’re almost identical. Build quality, the pressure pump, the adapters, even the overall layout… it’s all basically the same. This Dayaun kit includes everything you need: a solid pressure tester, multiple radiator cap adapters for different vehicles, and the vacuum refill tool. It performs exactly like the high-end truck brand version.That’s not a knock on Matco—it just shows how good this kit actually is. A lot of tools today are made overseas and rebranded, and this feels like it’s coming from the same level of manufacturing. For the price, this is an incredible value. You’re getting professional-level functionality without the $500 price tag. I’ve used both, and I’d recommend this one all day.

The one cap that I need to pressure test doesn't seal very well. Any movement whatsoever made the pressure release at the cap. I put it on as far as it goes and it feels like it would be a great seal, but it only works til about 10 psi. After that, any slight movement at all to the pump/line will move it slightly but enough for the pressure to release. It's impossible to not move when you have to hand pump it. Only one cap fits and I can't even use it. It was literally a complete waste of money.

Nice full set. Not the best of quality but it does hold pressure like it should. If you plan on using it all the time at work I would suggest a better quality set but it does work good. The airlift on the other hand is not worth your time. It leaks and sucks air bubbles into the system which completely defeats the purpose of the airlift. And the little chain that’s on it to hang it under the hood broke the first time I tried to use it.

Peso: El maletin era más grande de lo que esperaba y por todo lo que trae pesa un poquito. Precio: Vale la pena el precio por todo lo que puedes hacer con el. Cuidados: No es uno equipo que deba ser expuesto a caidas, limpiar siempre después de cada uso.

Nonostante abbia letto qualche recensione negativa, nel mio caso posso dire che è realizzato con materiali ottimi e riesce a testare perfettamente gli impianti di raffreddamento andando a mostrare esattamente dove si trova la perdita. La tenuta tra i vari attacchi e ottima. Devo testare però ancora il sistema di caricamento a depressione. Comunque direi ottimo

Worked to drain and refill and pressure tester no complaint as of yet . Things are a tad chinsy but the price reflects. Works as required. Has a chart for fittings. It's dated but should work for majority of everyday vehicles.
