What is the Difference between toe boot & plain toe boot

Plain toe is the opposite of cap toe in that there is no seam descending to the welt. The same goes for shoes.

Can they be polished and how can they be cleaned

use water and a stiff brush to clean. I did put paste wax on a pair I wore for couple years first. came out looking ok-don't think you'll ever get a high sheen look

Are these shoes 1st quality and official Rockports? Shoe box has no labeling or size, and shoes were not stuffed with paper?

These seem to be waterproof. When I used our hose and got water on them and no issues. Love these boots, very comfortable. Highly recommend.

How do these differ from the Rugged Bucks?

Same thing, not sure why they have changed the name if the shoe is the same! I bought a Rugged Buck in 2014, used it a lot and wanted a new one. I couldn't find it anymore as Rugged Buck, so I found out it has a new name and got a new one. Nothing is different.
